Too many CC and no DR ?

What do you mean with dr? Anyways im sure you can find at some basic fm guides somewhere too. Fm is a *really* hard class to start with especially now that people mostly can actually 'play' (more or less). FM basics are much harder than most classes. They are dont have as efficient noob friendly cheese combos. Their basic combo is already smth you have to work for.

Mostly you'll want to have frost orbits at some point then you freeze your opponent. You hit impact then you rb/lb and use your ice stun then you lb>rb>x> impact again then you rb>lb > firetab knockup and then you use your y knockup and then you instaly use your 4 aerial grab and thats where you have to time it properly to drop your opponent so he get knocked up again and then you would want to impact again. Or tech chase with your fire daze and impact afterwards. You can do your combos plenty of different ways. Many fms also abuse walls, you do less damage, but your opponent cannon escape it with tab escape.

Honestly there is so much to know thats just a brieve overview about your basic combo with no counterplay what so ever. Watch streams of fms like chloroform and research yourself.

Hi all, im new to the game leveled a 45 Forcemaster and trying to go 1v1 on arena.
I have noticed that there is so many cc, im stuned / rooted etc 95% of the time and thers is no DR ??
WTF ? any advice ?

As a FM you are very vulnerable to all kind of cc, try to not burn major escapes too soon, cause it will result in heavy combo just after. So you need to learn when you can take some dmg, for example with destroyer don't tab escape untill furry etc. Learn how certain skills of other classes looks like what they do, and how to avoid them, it is crucial on 1vs1 pvp. Get your HM block (1) as soon as You can, it really helps against most melee classes. You need to practice a lot as FM, cause it is right now hardest class to master in pvp imho. If You don't have friend to spar with, you can train your combos for example at first floor of mushin tower, good place to start.

Blade and Soul does not have diminishing returns on CC.

All classes can more or less 100 to 0 you if they have all their CC still available and you have 0 escapes left (of course this extreme situation never happens), but that means you can easily end up in check-mate situations and have to space your CCs and escapes carefully, with cool-downs in mind. I-frame skills and shields  are really important here too, to manage your own cool-downs and let them waste their CCs.

Good luck, it's always good to see new players starting in arena! :)
