impossible to beat a kfm as sum , tips welcomed!

Hi , i have been playing this game for about four months now and my biggest downfall in arena has been kfms , not stupid ones either. I finished last season rank 8 at 1930 but even than pushing top 5 seems very impossible when a kfm can man handle me. I constantly beckon and try not to hit into q and e animations and if i do i back off. The constant block spam really leaves me in a position to do nothing and they just wait for animations to come back up and im back in the same position. ive played stage 1 bees but my ping and potato of a laptop seems to not do the dmg i want (20 -30%) in an ariel combo if im lucky to get one off, also sunflower seems very useless considering the time i get another pounce tab is back due to the block spam over and over. so any tips or suggestions or maybe a pc that doesnt run the game at 18-30 fps be my only option?

Inb4 people start harassing you that you're a summoner and that you should be able to be god in this game.

 

I too have trouble with KFMs, they can counter us really hard (just like Destroyers). I have learned that playing extremely defensively with S2 Bees is my best bet against a really good KFM (or Dest for that matter). Just make sure they hit into your counter to reset S2 and pew pew away from stealth to apply the DoT. It slows them down and reduces their recovery. Throw in a nettles and stay far away from them and try to keep cat away from them while theyre in nettles so that they cant gain agility instantly by just pressing q or e on cat. Throw in a petal toss for good measure for extra damage.

well i tech chase when i can i do have HM v and pretty much all of my hongmoon skills but i have noticed since the patch that people can back roll out of ariel before it actually launches? i see alot of people complaining about this. i never used to have big problems with kfms just after this patch it seems they are very hard to kill. i play with around 120-200 ms steadily hovering around 170 most of the time , with an alright fps i seem to be able to tech chase a destroyer way easier than a kfm

in lower lvl arenas is  very possible. Especially if kfm's don't q/e or have HM skills.  Upper gold in the 1900's+ though most kfm's know their class. 95% of them will insta wreck sumnrs. In 1v1's just turn your back to them when round starts so they know they didn't win from any skill-based gameplay. In 3's I just tag out when kfm goes in. Is by far the most uneven match in the game.

Can do a tiny bit of dmg to them if u dont attack during q/e then land an arial and bees spam them. maybe able to burst down ~15% of their hp. then they land and one combo you dead.

 

This is the result of months and months of ppl whining about how "op sumnr is"

That's always happened and it happens to every class with their aerial starter. It has a bit of a delay before it actually launches the opponent.

Thanks for the laugh! KFM insta-wrecks summoners who suck at protecting their cat, which is most of them - even at gold rank and above. Bad summoners don't recall their cat and let it auto attack, giving KFM free Q/E or HM Counter i-frames. Yeah, getting gold isn't hard when you steam roll newbies that don't know how to play against you. A good summoner is a nightmare to play against, especially if they bother learning how your class PvP's. Lastly, if you think summoner vs KFM is the most uneven matchup in the game, I suggest you roll a KFM and tell me what it's like to play against assassins. If excuses make you feel better about yourself, keep turning your back against KFM's.

I think you should try bind the kfm. Use the flying nettle that reduce movement speed. Use your dandelion to reset your bind skill cd and bind him as much as you can. Only use your cc as escape to get out of kfm cc, this is very important use them wisely. Use your own 2 cc if he keeps sticking to you. Your goal is not to catch kfm in a stun lock. Your goal should be keeping him in a bind lock.

equal lols from your post. protect their cat?

ok so we put them down for 4 seconds. then kfm insta wrecks them.

or we can recall pet and kfm can chain stun us. Fighting kfm you never want pet next to you because its too easy to cc both the pet and summoner. cc'ed pet=no iframes.

So let them attack giving kfm focus or recall them and give kfm an ez target to cc. its an easy decision.

Please record the next fight you have of a summoner beating you as a kfm. I'd pay gold for that.(You have to actually try)
