build and skill rotation

What you're doing wrong is slacking off most likely. Experiment and find what suits you.

My basic stance is mostly utilities and I stay in draw stance most of the time. So the skills being used are F1 lunar slash, F1 raid (threat), F2 5pt (threat-resist), F3 lightning draw (HM flame draw), F3 flash step (violent blade), F3 flicker and F3 honed slash (dragontongue) as well as F3 flock of blades (phoenix wing) and F1 blade storm.

I start the battle with threat rush - phoenix wing - flame draw - lunar slash - dragontongues - blade storm - dragontongues - lunar slash - dragontongues and two lightning rods + whirling scourge at some point. This deals a very good amount of damage and pretty much guarantees you have aggro on you. Then it's just spamming draw stance skills until phoenix wing is up again, the rest depends on boss.

Not sure if you are unable to understand your own skills, or some other reasons for it.

Dragontongue :

- is your main bread and butter dmg skill

- reduces Lunar Slash cooldown by 1 sec per hit.

Lunar Slash (Tier 3 Form 1) :

- gives Conflagration effect over 3 secs that allows Dragontongue to be casted without cooldown.

- recovers 5 focus

- recovers 6 focus over 3 secs

Blade Storm (Tier 2 Form 1) :

-  give Conflagration effect over 4 secs

Violent Blade (Tier 3 Form 3) :

- New tree of Flash Step

- gives Conflagration effect for 1 sec

- parry for 1.2 sec, cooldown 0.8 sec

- available upon Flicker, Dragontongue usage

Threat :

- Added to Rush

- Added to Raid

- Added to Searing Slash, your new tree of Lightning Draw

When this buff came in, 5 mins experimentation was all it takes for me to understand how to make a fire build(I stood by lightning before the patch). This is probably the biggest dmg buff and most dummy-friendly build made for BM, how could you be asking for one in forums?

good for you Katashi, im glad it took you 5min, *claps*

i dont need your permission to ask something in forums, if you dont like it, you can move on without replying.

some of us have full time jobs and university to attend to, so i wanted to be sure i have the best possible build,

is that good enough reason for you? do i have your approval?
