SS backstep

I've noticed a couple of times that when I backstep my char doesnt move, yet it burns the skill and cd starts.

I notice this specially in situations where i need to evade, lets say Yeti or ToI, and the ice from SS t2 is casted , but i remain in the same spot and the effect is nullified, meaning my char will get full damage. Fortunately it doesnt happen that often but i want to know if others have the same issue aswell or if its already being fixed or if its just only me.

It happened to me sometimes if I ss in mid air. Or if i have high ping, I will keep getting pulled back to the same spot no matter what i do. Not sure if mine is the same problem as yours.
