those are the worst events we ever have.A p2w one and another that force us to do that wirlwind that everyone hates.How about putting something fun,like getting the chests from something enjoyable instead of this crap battleground..seriously.Wasted 3 hours today to make that stupid daily with 2 wins.

1. No one is forcing you to do Whirlwind Valley, its mainly directed to those that enjoy PVP for once and to bring life into the battleground

2. Its not a full pay2win event, you get a free chance every day, if others wanna spend money on it let them its not like there is anything really spectacular in there. There will be another event that will have the jewels again anyway,

Got into a PUG party with full of HM5~6 players while the opponents are full of HM11~12. Just 2 of them can crush 6 of us pretty easily. Stopped doing this foolish event now, :)

yeah is kind of bullshit they don't balance like arena and AP 750 players can 1 shoot you. I wish this even was for aena pvp at least there you can win some fights with your skills but whirlwind valley is just the luck of who you will be paired up with. Since i min warlock this even more bullshit since i have to set up the damage and have very few escapes while assassins run around the place one shooting you from the back. gg *cricket*. lag doesn't help either.

You can unlock them aswel by using hongmoon coins so without spending real life money.

I'm sorry but I disagree. 

Ya you get a free try. But your chances are so much lower. You only have 2 tabs while someone who paid money can unlock all of them and try endlessly.

How is that a fair event?

If you're lucky to get a venture or if you have enough gold to buy hm coins. An event should be fair to everyone. If everyone had the same amount of tabs and instead of 1 free try we'll get maybe 5 or even just 3, and paid users could buy more keys . That's fine. But free players are clearly at a disadvantage here.

Well, you'll be happy to know I have one toon that has all slots open and another that has two. The two free slot toon has gotten asura ss and spider fangs. My all slot toon, a asura ss and soulstones lol. So yea...

Agreeing with the majority here: you don't have to do 6v6. And if you do you can LFG for skilled players or withhold members to help you out. Prior to the event 6v6 was dead so I'm actually happy they brought it back. Also trove is not p2w as you can easily buy slots with HMcoins.

The "free" part of this event is just a bad joke, you have to use hm coins worth 1000g+ to have at last a small (very small ) chance to get something usefull. y totally fair this "event"! It is just useless for everyone who is not a whale.

Complaints about P2W fall in 2 categories:

1. dislike seeing people spending their money 
2. be jealous of people having better gear

Customers want something and the company needs to make money. So the exchange takes place.

How in the hell do you suggest the enterprise would sustain otherwise?

Customers are not so stupid as to spend money on something they don't want.

 

As far as I can see, they've done pretty well to avoid extreme disparity among players by making items available to everyone at a reasonable price.

In other MMORPG, they have like a handful, or less than a dozen, of super-rare items in the entire freaking game which can only by bought with a handsome sum of money.

Companies price stuff so that they have the most profit. It's completely old news; they do not have the incentive nor responsibility to price stuff so that it's available to as many people as possible. You should already know this when becoming a customer, except for some reasons that would be insulting to say.

 

If you complain about RNG, well I don't like it either. But then again, state-sponsored lottery is ok, so are casinos. 

 

Would I like to pay less, of course I would. Would I consider this BnS business deceiving? NO

This trove event is just like box event, you pay at least you get something

 

Whirlwind event is good, it's revive battleground that long dead and you can't enter more than 2 people and it has rank, so if you kept losing, you'll matched with another loser in 2-3 days from now, while people who has win streak will be matched with another winner (just like arena rank) and the event itself is rewarding

This is when the game profits most: making undergeared players pay to get more gear in order to join the event, or/and make them pay for a higher chance to get the 'free prize'.

There's a reason why free to play games have 10 more income than pay to play games.

If someone can't participate in this event (again), just move on and find another reason to play, or another game to play.

Yes..im not a big fan of pvp, usually 1v1 or 3v3 is fine but force people into something that they obviously dislike for the majority is just stupid..that's probably going to be the 1st event i dont play.. is there something other than bad luck that could explain 6 loss in a row in ww.. already saw matchmaking flaws in other games so im wondering.. because its getting old

The Treasure Trove is known to hate poor people. Even with 4 characters I only get utter crap from those 2 slots. Unless you spend real money to unlock slots and possibly buy keys it's pointless to even try. 

 

Also 90% of the population could not afford to buy up 11k hongmoon coins for this event.
