When to use Frost Sheath

I started my FM a long time ago, got her to 50 and then stopped playing her to work on my Sin. I am taking a break from my Sin to play around with my FM for SSP use(Sin here is pretty useless). I have been running a few dung's and was wondering when am I supposed to be using FS? I found it rather annoying when I played my Sin as it knocks me out of stealth, this is more of an issue when I use fighting spirit due to the CD.

iv actually become quite useful in ssp as a force master. Once you get it down everybody will love you and ask you to be on there party. its really more of a feel for the terrors. Like if a terror chain pull someone and there stun and pinned after 3 close range attacks they normally do the aoe where u can FS. But they switch aggro like mad in ssp so that not always reelable.

Another thing if a terror is pinned once and after it gets up it chain pulls and stunned again they will ALWAYS aoe. i learned that the hard way.

you really just need a feel i think FS last like 3s and thats a long time in ssp terror farming.

* but always know its never 100%. i keep my party alive will my force pull to help them res and FS for protection but we still sometimes die. on a good day i FS 1/2 times the terror red aoe.

Sheath can be a party saver, or can kill people/cancel abilities. Also, it has a universal cooldown so once any FM in the party uses it, everyone is on cooldown. Sheath tends to be something I use for group protection and ice tab for personal protection. Knowing the mechanics of the fights beforehand should show you if sheath is the best option, or something else. One of my regular people to party with is a destroyer and he hates when sheath is used too much as it messes with his abilities.

I find it useful in SSP for the terror fights. Learning when they will use their big aoe and sheath just before.

Similarly, it can be really useful in dungeons for dealing with aoe's of bosses. However, it can also cause a lot of problems if you do not time it correctly. Some FM's like to use it in the fire part of the Yeti fight and that drives me nuts. Mostly because it can cause people to get frozen which hurts the party's total dps. If you aren't sure if the party wants you to use sheath, just ask. If I'm in a party where someone has HM Block, or the like, then I will ask so that we are not both using the skills to protect the party at the same time.

Sheath is a great party save skill but many people rely on that instead of using iframes by themself. I often see that in masts in 1 boss. What are the groups doing without a fm or bm? Most classes can easily evade many skills but many people don't spec that skills because fm has to deal with everything but blame you if you fail 1 use.

After the first 2 jumps after the stun, of course. Best situation to use it. Anywhere else, not, there you are right.
