Make 24-Man Great Again!

Imho, as for now, Zaiwei ruins, Beastbog and Twisted Grimhorn rewards are not that rewarding. Because of that, they are empty most of the time.

Instead of adding RNG based pouch on every event, why don't you just "maybe" add moonstone to the 24man daily quest reward instead.

 

As a pve player (I do like pvp but ssp is a massive lagfest), I love doing 24 dungeons with my friends. I still remember the good times we had when we were doing daily quest in efleet and nsh back in the day. Fun and rewarding.

To be honest, the 24man areas are empty because they are too tedious and annoying to do. Nobody has time to run around kill 20 mini bosses to spawn the main one. In the time a player would waste finishing a 24man run he can do a few other faster dungeons and come out of it with more items / gold and profit.

Very true, Sorry to say drx but 24mans in silverfrost are trash to say the least.

 

Beastbog - if u are lucky its eaxctly 1 hour long bongfest

FrostScale - Worthless in all aspects why does it even exist...

Zaiwei ruins - Great for xp and its the fastest 24man yet while giving scale for Mandate (dunno why dead tbh)

Twisted Wilds - BeastBog 2.0 just with a cool costume and also weap for legendary

 

Once you get what u want from those 24mans there is really no point in going back, sure Zaiwei gives fragments for scale but with the amount of money ppl make its easier to just buy the scale. ESPECIALY since doing the dailies in Zaiwei doesnt *cricket*ing give 10 fragments so its absolutely trash.

The problem with level 50 24-man instances are that they are too time-consuming.

For example, Beastbog. You have to kill Hot Blood/Cold Blood, then wait for 20 minutes, before the second boss notification comes out. Of course, you can fill up the time with killing other mobs for the dailies.

Then after killing second boss, you have to wait another freaking 20 minutes. You have two choices here:

1. Wait for 20 minutes doing nothing.

2. Go to Cross-server or other areas to complete another dailies (which could risk into getting in another channel when coming back to Beastbog).

 

Same goes for Zaiwei, I dont really mind protecting Han Muki, it goes pretty fast, but escorting Ogong? Kill a four-million hp demon four times? Heck, there are only about 8 players killing the demons, when this is meant for 24 men. The daily rewards for these 24-men instances should be on par with GHS dailies (80silver+ and 25k+ exp for each quest).

I'm pretty lucky myself that I'm still able to run all these 24-men instances with my clanmates. Even though there are only 4-6 of us doing all these.

That is why they should revise and add more rewards to it. Current reward is so trashy. I don't mind doing tedious or time consuming dungeon, as long as it worth the time.

That could be possible, but I prefer it to be FUN and REWARDING, not just time consuming.

Like the 45 24man dungeons were, I did them daily on 2 chars till 50 patch hit.

Though honestly, NSH did get kinda stale because you needed so many mob kills and Bloodmane had too much HP for small groups.

 

What I would like to see:

Zaiwei Ruins: 4 mobs during Ogong Escort having HP reduced by 50% or add loot for everyone (not a naryu coin)

Twisted Grimhorn/Beastbog: Time between Boss spawns reduced by 50% so its more in line with Poha/NSH24

Personally...even if the reward was better i wouldnt waste my time with it. In the time it takes to do 1 of the 24man dungeons i can do say 5-6 gloomdross / shattered mast runs and earn +/- 300-400g if the drops are lucky.

 

Not to mention its more fun than the 24 man.

Unfortunately not everyone can do that. Those who have lower AP can't even join 6man sometimes. This is where 24-man dungeon supposedly comes to help. With a better reward, this could be source of income for lowbies, and also, those instances will become active again.

As for now, rich getting richer, poor getting poorer.

IMO, lowbies would get far more if they just skipped the 24man and went directly for 6 man other dungeons.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. That is why I suggested that they should improve the reward for these dungeons to the point where they will become players' must-do area and not something that they can just skip of.

But still though, it is not easy for fresh 50 with 400AP doing 6man without getting flamed or kicked out of the party.

Although I do agree extra rewards would be more incentive to do these, what really put me off the 24 mans like Zaiwei, is the large amount of people just camping out at the bosses while waiting for other people to do the work to spawn them. I tried doing it during the wee  and there was no one killing mobs, the defend Han Muki quest failed as there was only me and one other player trying to defend it, yet there were around 2 dozen people standing around the Tarakahn spawn area. Unfortunately I think if the rewards are increased it will just encourage more freeloaders to do this. 

 

They really need to make it so that you can't get loot from these bosses unless you have actually made a significant contribution to the entire instance. Maybe something like adding fragments of some sort that need to be collected to unlock the chests that drop or something like that.
