I am sure we will get both versions in the future. The reason I can understand why NCsoft hasn't released it is they seem to really like putting outfits which go for all races, all genders. I like this as-well. I have also found that they seem to want to make all of the outfits have a counterpart: So if the outfit is all female, they also want there to be an all male version of said outfit. (This can be said for the Female Wind and Thunder god outfits; they are waiting for a Lyn outfit to be created before releasing the outfit). 

I'd also like to see both versions in the game; but there are also MANY other swimming costumes we are missing. If anyone wants a list of pictures of the swimsuits we are missing (I'll take the pictures for Lyn females since this thread seems to be based on them) let me know.

Here ya' go. These are the current costumes in the Wardrobe on the Taiwanese client. The new 2016 costumes should appear in the Wardrobe soon so I'll add them when I can.
The first outfit isn't the same for all of the races and genders.
The second outfit is the same for all races and genders.
The third outfit is what is coming in the upcoming event.
The fourth outfit; as talked about before is gender exclusive and is the one with the boobs.
The fifth outfit is one I believe to already be in the cash shop.

As for those of you talking about the lore whether it should have anything to do with boobs or not. The costume exists on another region. It's fine there; it should be fine here. The Lyn race can be made to look childish; and also mature. There are CHILD Lyns running around the open world like places such as Fish Belly Pub. Boobs or not; we should get all outfits gender specific; boobs or not. In all honesty I think they should've given Lyns a boob slider which would fix all of these issues entirely - and before all of you "but they're children! Is that your fetish?" people come along. They are characters on a screen; pixels. As are their outfits; all pixels. All races should have a flat and a boob option; that's all.

 

Edit: I'd also like to add that if there is any outfit you should be complaining about it should be this one; it makes the Lyn look like a hooker. But that's just my view on the outfit like it is your view to find a problem with the boobs on the swimming costume.

I actually think a lot of people haven't noticed but if you are playing a Jin, Yun or Gon female if you equip different outfits your boob size changes: Dreamcutter for example has very big boobs compared to other outfits. Your characters boob side doesn't change this; some outfits have predesigned boob sizes - just like this Lyn Swimsuit.

Yay for example the Poh outfit gives very small breasts.

The costume is avaliable in other regions: That's the main point of this. People feel that this should exist in our region as-well.

That is true. However, they are made to look humanoid and also they do have offspring. Small Jin's and tall mature looking Lyns do not look the same (obviously) why should a race be limited in options? Some lyns look mature, others look childish. The creator of the character should choose if the character is flat or not. People may also want to be Lyns for the costumes: I'm not a fan of the Jin's outfits as I feel they focus on the boobies too much which is why I mainly play as a Lyn.

NCW holds onto the fact that no matter what they do to butcher stuff, players will still support them, which is why they can get away with anything.

Not everyone who wants Lyns to have the option of a chest & not a copypaste of males chest are sexualizing them.
Not everyone who plays Lyns see's them as eternal children (because they aren't, and there are tons of older/elder npcs to prove it). 

Not everyone gets off on pixels.

No they aren't. You guys are basing them off Elins in Tera. Lyn =/= Elin. They are small forest creatures that have a connection to the elements or w/e. If they were intended to be eternal children than why doesn't the original version of BnS have them flat chested? Hm?

I never knew about Tera or the Elin race until I got into BnS where everyone kept making comparisons between them.

 

I never said they were technically ALL children at least in age but they are based on a child-like model. You can tell because you would need to min-max certain attributes to make your Lyn look as adult or as old as possible. Leave sliders in the middle range or their default options and you get one that looks no more than 10 years old. And that now relates to what I said about the waves of Lolis you see in game. If say, the uncensored versions were released in NA, you're gonna see a lot more child looking female lyns in bathing suits with breasts compared to old female lyns with breasts or even the "giant Lyn" ones.

 

Also I'm not really sure if the last part of your post was partly a snipe at me but in my own defense just in case it was and generally speaking.....

Actually, NCSoft can make some nice buck, just by adding the "grown-up" version to every female Lyn outfits. Any Lyn lover will buy them, and some even buy both versions :D

 

The same would happen, if NCSoft sells non-grown-up version for Jin race :P
