limit people per channel in SSP , its impossible to play

.... And make it playable for melee classes. I'm having a bad experience with my sin, sick of seeing only range classes around there, with little to no melee class. 

Was it intended when they made SSP the melee classes to have a pretty hard time there, and the range classes laugh at us? Darn

Yea it's impossible to play now when u got 20 crims and 20 ceru battling in SSP. one trying to trash the other, Not to mention TONS OF FM and CATS!

I agree limit people and limit people of EACH FACTION! BAM!

 

We have balance! So easy... but instead encourage people to leave clans and faction to change side...

 

Great idea! So lettin one faction extinct on purpose is working as intended?

they do have a limit on the number of people that can access a channel the problem with it is the same as when blackwyrm was popular "PLEASE INVITE CH1" so they sit and spam the pt leaders channel which bypasses the limit set

^ This. But, also: there is a hardcap on the channels but I'm not entirely sure what it is. If we are made aware by NcSoft how many people are needed to hardcap a channel we could invite and conquer. I also feel there should be 10 SSP instances on EVERY server whatever time of the day and if they all fill put more on. There is no reason to have only 3 running at a time on some occasions.

Just deal with the key situation.

 

-increase the chance to drop from terrors

-allow trading in insignias and pp for the keys

-all monsters should drop keys, not just grass-squatch

-give a rare chance for elites to drop the keys too

-add keys to daily rewards

 

Alternatively, make Grindtooth more like Heku/Yachun for credit, because everyone gets credit on the tent. 

 

I am sure I am not the only one who played SSP after merger for a few hours to get zero key drops.

They need to move moonstones and soulstones to more places then just ssp, upgrades rely so heavily on the two and SSP is really the only place to get either (unless you only want to farm roughly 13 SS a day from misty). With the server links SSP has become unplayable, people flocking in during the phases that are known to drop keys *cpature and grindtooth* and lags out the entire area by the sheer numbers.

 

Stingers can be farmed from dungons, it doesn't make sense to put two of the major components to leveling up gear into a pvp only area that is now beyond over populated.

NCS made the game so melees PvP, ranged PvE.

End of story.

Btw it's a ridiculously retarded design but what can you do.

They have already announced that moonstones will be added to the PvE content (dungeon boxes made from shards for dungeon completions & Mushin Tower 14-15). It does not mean that the SSP reward structure need not be revised.

 One other thing no one has mentioned.  CTL+F is supposed to just hide friendlies yet it also hides the other faction which is completely broken.  CTL+F is about the only way to get anything but a slide show when the fur hits the fan in there yet it's incredibly dangerous to use due to this oversight.

 

NC Fix this (as well as bringing the SSP optimization patch to fix PVE enemies not being drawn much of the time leading to nasty surprise ogre encounters)!
