How to upload profile picture?

HIHI all, i have a quick question, how to upload profile picture. i already seen a view youtube vids and tried a couple times but it keeps saying failed to upload photo.

 

Basically i take a photo of my ingame character. then i go to my picture and select the picture i want to use and change the name to exactly the same name as my ingame character photo. then i delete the ingame picture. then i go back in game and select the photo i upload. but its still not working. does anyone have a better way to upload the picture? please and thank you

If you're referring to the profile picture in the forums, this can't be changed.  We all get the cat with the headphones except for the mods who get animated gif pictures.

 

If you're referring to the in game profile, this was removed from the game because people were abusing it by putting porn and other questionable stuff up there.  You can blame a few bad apples for that.

They removed the "upload your own image" part of it because of that reason. The images are saved on their servers and they had some liability and other issues due to it if I understand right.

ugh, those idiots that posted inappropriate pictures should really get banned ...

Anime pictures are problem for NCSoft too. It`s licensed content in many cases so they can`t host it on their servers.

Bullsh**t! There is no legal issue with Anime pictures, all the forums, website etc. around where many ppl use this kind of pictures as avatar have no problems too. So why should only NCsoft have legal issues with it?
