Do they give back some of the materials or all of them are gone?

 

I'm just confused because I read sources where they say none of them are given back and then there was one which said that at least the silverfrost transformation stones are given back. I just want some final clarification.

 

And also, are there any items that can guarantee or increase success chance?

The items aren't given back. I've done 5 tries and got 2. There is an item to increase the chance, but it's not in the game yet.

The item is to increase the chance of a critical crafting and not to increase the success rate overall.
