Does anyone actually know how the RNG really works?

I already explained how to calculate.

I was not seeing soul fighter weapons so i calculated with 8.

1/9=.11111

so 11.11111111 percent chance of getting your weapon from a chest.

so 88.8888% change of not getting a weapon on the first chest.

to find the probabilities of consecutive events, multiply them.

so for 2 chests it's .88888^2 for failing 3 chest in  row is .88888^3  to fail 30 chests in a row is 2.9%.

now that's just for ONE weapon. you have MANY that are inside chests.

so to find the odds you are gonna get screwed that bad at least once...

you need to find the odds of not getting screwed that bad for the first weapon, then for the second, then multiply them all then subtract it from 1.

so .97^12 (there were 12 listed above) =70 percent of players or so will never have to open 30 chests to get one of those 12 weapons. meaning 30% of all players are going to have to open at least 30 for at least one weapon.  and that's assuming there are no other no trade weapons.

So odds of you having a really lousy time at least once on a weapon are actually pretty darn good when the soul fighter weapon is added in.    and depending on how early that happens you can easily run out of keys...  And some of them need two keys....

so yeah 1%? try 30% of players. no wonder ther are so many horror stories.
