Unskilled Fury resist status effects?

I thought the unskilled Fury would resist status effects like stun and daze so in the arena i pop Fury and then I get stunned.  So I exit arena and look at skill book and putting a point into Fury would allow me to resist stuns.   What does the unskilled Fury resist if anything at all?

It's just the 0.5-1 second of fury activation that lets you resist stun in unskilled fury. When the activation is done the resist is over.
