Soulstone Plains - Mane Problems

Hi, I made this suggestion for a simple reason.

Those Unbound Manes are too painful for melee players.

Even as a player with 79k hp and high defense I don't think I could survive getting hit once from a Mane's AOE as it took 50-60% of my HP.

So I have 2 suggestions and you should pick one.

 

1. Slow down Mane's attack speed, AOE speed and AOE proc chance.

or

2. Reduce Mane's damage ( AOE too ) by 70% and also his movement speed so those with SS on cooldown will not be pulled by Mane once again.

 

I don't have problems with Cerulean players since I can just get away easily.

Oh boy those mobs so annoying even for me who is ranged.You have absolutely no time to use any iframes,its coming too fast.

 

The rng it does the attacks comes in par with the rng in game,2 days ago i got 3 small aoes on me in the span of 3sec,yes,i dont know what that is.I am not sure

how to explain those aoes,but you get the point,the one that targets one person,not the area aoe.

The AOE hurts too. One after another. Even with my HM block skill I don't think I can take another random hit. My hp from 79k drops to 40-50k in an instant.

Next thing you know I raged due to all my effort on collecting Prestige Points.

Manes are too painful. Even if my ping is around 50-60 I don't think I have enough i-frames.

On behalf of everyone doing SSP I bloody wish the Developers nerf the Manes badly.

Sometimes i get the hit, 20% for not like die, i run and lose the loot.

 

Sometimes we get my aggro and I lose pp, Unbounds are a pain in the ass, thats why I simple stop killing they after the 3 required.

When i do ssp i get a Bm who knows HM Block , a FM to frostsheet and a BD with hm block, Theres kind of timmer for when he gonna do AoE, everytime you knock him down get ready for an AoE when he gets back up , 80% the time he does it..also every 15 sec when fighting him we do a frostsheeth or HM block, also since im a WL i put my trall to taunt so if i get agro i send trall and he will agro someone else and use soulbourn to cooldown others skills, never seen no one getting problems with Mane..Just try get a team.

One point for you since you're right about having a team for sustain but that's not the main point here.

The point of my thread is to nerf the manes. They attack damn fast and are also too painful even for a 79k hp player with high defense, evasion and block.

1 whack from a terror already costs you 10% of your hp, what about AOE?

Mane is really a trouble... But it's like Rabidshot said, if get a team u can avoid/resist almost all his AoE.

I myself play WL, but when i want to farm Keys/Moonstone i go as FM, can evade 70% of the times cuz i know the right timming. I don't have a good ping, thats why i play ranged, if i had around 80ms or lower i would play Assassin and probably evade 100% of his attack...

 

It's annoying, i know, but try to watch his attacks, there is always an animation, also like Rabidshot said, specially when someone kd, or a LBM grab him...Just watch carefully when him AoE then start to try avoiding it...

Everyone keeps forgetting that they're called UNBOUND/EVOLVED. They only care about what is under your Evolved stat. If they were regular Terrors like Blood/Phantom Mane, they'd be too easy, just like the Hoglin. The only issue here is that the game is just badly optimized.

 

The least you could do is play smart, don't go berserk so someone else can claim aggro, slow your attacks down so you can ready your iframes, and break off if you need to eat a dumpling. If you can get 101 prestige, go back to base and take the 20% evolved defense buff to survive better.
