Should I start over with weapon path?

Basically I went on the new upgrade path and it costs a lot more than the old upgrade path. Should I just continue on this new weapon upgrade path or start over? 

 

Some knowledgeable advice would be nice as it isn't easy getting the gold and materials to do the new upgrade path.

If you can afford start over with your weapon then go for it.  However, the old paths will be gone on June 1st which means if you're gonna take the old path you should get it to true pirate asap.

Thanks I guess I'll just stick to the new one. But dang it costs so much.
