First things first, being legal it has already been deemed morally acceptable by the society it was made legal in to begin with. 
It doesn't benefit the whole. Well, most things do not. And just because someone has it better than you doesn't make it okay for you to wish them worse, you can wish for yourself to have it better, but wanting others to have it worse is just an evil thing to do. 
Speaking of morals, I think I just pointed out that your view was the one leaning towards evil. Also if you had any knowledge about morals at all you would know that they are subjective, albeit grealy affected by the society in which one live. To make an abundantly clear example, for eskimos it's completely normal to leave their elders to die/kill them off when they can no longer pull their own weight, because the harsh environment doesn't allow it. In any western country, this tradition would probably be shunned where taking care of elders is the common thing to do "...After they raised you".

Well, it doesn't make it wrong either. You are wishing others benefits away, it's like saying because I don't have free health care in the US people in other countries shouldn't have it either. It's a hollow argument at best at does and not defend your position in any way. 

Its origin has no impact on the way it's used today. Even if it originally came from a 'bug' as you put it, it being taking into consideration for balancing purposes means it has been accepted as a feature instead. Judging something as good or bad from where it once came is a logical fallacy, but I don't reckon you're the type to care about those.

Lastly you argue that there's a lack of necessity, because your subjective experience indicates that playing against those specific players you've encountered indicates that, and IF you lose it's because you have a low level. This indicates to me that you firstly, have probably never seen anything above low gold ranking even after bot inflation, and secondly not being able to accept your losses with others playing better than you. Had you played any high end PvP in this game you'd know that you need to use every option you have to beat the best of the best. 

Finally I dare comment on your "it's allowed but I don't think it should be. That's my stance, if you got a problem with it, I don't care. You're not changing my opinion, that's for me to do". This kind of mentality is the absolutely trashiest the human kind has to offer, you are the type of person to ignore any and all evidence based on "but it doesn't fit my way of thinking", people with this mentality is the reason diseases prevented by vaccines are showing up again, and why *cricket* victims are not allowed to have an abortion. Absolutely disgusting.

First: It's not wrong for me to want them to not be able to have this exploit available to them. It benefits the self in a malicious way that worsens the experience of other players. My friend, who played this game during closed beta, quit the game because she saw the animation canceling and thought that her opponent was using a macro, which is in fact what an animation cancel basically is. Besides, we can always just buff the classes who rely on animation canceling to make up for the unfairly earned DPS they gained out of it. But again, it's not wrong for me to want them to not be able to have this advantage because, it's an unfair advantage that not everyone in this game can enjoy, and it will incite people to quit the game just like my friend, who has played games like Tekken and never had to face this nonsense. I have seen animation canceling in a previous game and it was considered an exploit, so there you have it. 

 

Second: I know I could have won those fights, but have you tried fighting a level 40 at level 20? It's very friggin hard. Sometimes I don't even play seriously on my KFM and just troll them the whole round (with the exception of BM, Assassins, and Blade Dancers). I've also played against KFM as this so called "top tier class" the FM. They honestly don't need the animation canceling. They really don't. I made it up all the way to plat before. Am I there now? No. But my point still stands that I know how people fight. Classes such as the destroyer don't even need the macro skills, their flaming spin can rekt everything in their path given the opportunity, and I'm surprised they don't use it more often. Plus KFM can use 2 grabs. Meaning if their opponent tabs out of one, they can just use the other. And it's not like it's hard to do. Just use the first grapple on a knocked down enemy and the second in an air combo. They gain back a lot of health and they make their opponent suffer. Why is it they choose the path that would make them look like macro warriors? That's beyond me. All I know is that in theory, they can easily win the match without having to use those skills. 

 

If you want to go on saying "it's the only way", go on ahead. You would only be lying to yourself, and I don't work with, or support, liars.

Let me correct that for you. Because I do. The only animation canceling I've seen on a FM is canceling Frost/Fire Fury. Wanna know what we get out of it? Nothing. Just a chance to fire 1 more shot that we would have gotten anyway. Then there's also the fact that FMs don't get their DPS from macros, we use burn effects to get it, if not then air combos. Regardless of what you say or show me, I will stand against it because it is an unfair advantage. I firmly believe that and you should know that I won't change my mind about it. Intended or not, I hate the feature as it takes away from intelligent game play to me. Have fun getting raged at for "face rolling all day to win", or being told your class needs no skills, because people will say that if this persists. So um, I just went around asking about animation canceling some more to get further information on it...and it turns out I might have been told or convinced of a completely different definition of animation canceling than what it really is. So um, ya. Since my stance is literally just been proven 100% incorrect, I guess I have no choice but to correct myself. 

 

Will it still look stupid to me? Yes. But is it a legit part of the game, yes. Plus I just beat a destroyer who was certainty using animation canceling so...ya I guess i disproved myself here.

 

I retract my previous, flawed statements and I recant. Sorry about the mess. >.<
