If you block someone, does it prevent them from appearing in PUGs?

Question in title. Hopefully yes. Met my share of trolls in PUGs. Earlier some d*ck with a lot of money was purposely bidding on a purple weapon that I need even though he doesn't even need it. Even admitted to "just doing it to troll us".

You can still join cross server parties with people you've blocked, it doesn't make you mortal enemies or anything.

Even with premade groups, unless you remember the name, you won't find out until you start the dungeon run and see the icon next to their  floating name ~

If bots can keep friend requesting you, then blocking a normal player sure isn't gonna do anything.

Ok well if the block sign is next to their name next time, I guess it's better than nothing. At least it reminds me they're a troll and I'll just queue again.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of people like that as well as a lot of follow-the-party-but-don't-participate afkers and your block list will only hold 50, so imo there's no way to avoid all the bs of this community because eventually you'll fill up all 50. 

 

Just take a deep breath and move on from trolls.

Don't forget to manually input you bidding monies with your mouse and numpad so that you don't get bid sniped! :D
