Naksun is ignoring roots (Warlock)

Just about every fight Naksun just completely ignores roots. He'll either stay in the same spot and hit me with melee attacks (they are not his ranged attacks.)  like if he was next to me. Or he'll just use his combo (while chained btw) and hit me from across the room. It's not like Mushin or Junghado where there is a clear animation of him breaking out of roots, it's instant. He'd be a difficult fight normally but being cheesed like this gets old fast.
