As a kfm i was looking through alot of builds and guide videos for rotations to follow.

 

But i noticed a common trend around straight jab having the hm tier 4 for procing cyclone kick on crit.

 

Is it really necessary for a kfm doing 3rf or 2lbf to have this hm skill for the rotation?

You don't need that for 3rf. 3 procs cyclone 100% of the time. Also, your 2 procs cyclone kick on crit. So not really needed as in PvE you should have 100% crit buff most of the time anyways.
