Lame question about Hongmoon Coins

Over time I have slowly and painfully accumulated 400 Hongmoon Coins. I was under the impression that we can use these in the Hongmoon Store. I attempted to use them to purchase Dragon Trade Pouches. I got an error that said I needed NC Coin. I thought that meant we need to convert Hongmoon Coin to NC Coin, but I don't see a way to do that. If there are only certain items we can purchase with Hongmoon Coin, I don't see the filter for  that.

 

What is the use of Hongmoon Coin if it can't be used on the Hongmoon Store?
