Bots never level up the hongmoon weapon, instead use the weapon which you can get from the fieldbosses, what if you reduce the AP from this weapons to 1?

While it wouldn't be a problem early on, I've found myself using some of the later field boss/story reward weapons when they finally pass my Awakened Infernal in strength.

 

Also, not all bots use field boss weapons, some of them have moved on to later story reward weapons (specifically the Skypetal, Silverstone(?) and Stormbringer variants) and thus would be unaffected by this if they've already reached that level.

 

And, they'd just find another way. I'd rather have a solution that deals with them and does not hinder regular players.
