Aggro table questions

I was wondering how the warlock's thrall and the smn cat affect hate on a boss.  Does it reset are either of the two aforementioned pets' taunt wear off or they die?

Seeing how it works and testing it myself I would say it just suddenly makes mob/boss to see only the cat. After the taunt ends the aggro can be obtained by the summoner itself or another player so it might reset or simply get overwritten by person with more threat. If cat/thrall dies yes it might switch to someone else.

The taunts are hard taunts. They force the boss to target the unit for the duration of the taunt. After it wears off the boss goes back to whoever is currently highest on the aggro table.
