Is there a way to gain altitude when flying?

I am trying to do a jump in Chapter 30, Act IV after Jinsoyan, but losing height after landing and trying to accelerate on the second rock. She seems to jump up on it, but topographically it is lower than the next rock. Is there something I am missing? I always assumed that you glide down? The acceleration while flying always make me lose altitude fast.

There is no way to do that :x i think you have to figure how to do that jump by yourself.

I had no problem for that tbh. Maybe you need to sprint, then jump as high as you can, then glide as fast as you can to the other side. HF !

As Nel said, only way to gain altitude is to do a high jump and start glide at height of jump or hope you can wall climb the platform.

 

If the quest is the one I'm thinking, have you tried jumping to any other platforms that might be slightly lower than the target and then jump from there.  I personally didn't follow Jinsoyun across, just found my own route and had no issues.
