Hongmoon skills

  • Shadow Slash:
    • Volume 2 (Bloodshade Harbor drop or Achievement Merchant for 70 Naryu Coins)
      • Stage 1 Tier 5:
        • Can be used one more time on hit.
        • Reduced attack delay (lets you act out of the move faster)
      • Stage 3 Tier 5:
        • 2x8m range
        • Inflicts 1 poison on knockdown
      • Stage 4 Tier 5 - Venom Slash:
        • 5.5 attack power modifier (same as Shadow Slash Stage 4), but is unaffected by weapon damage bonus.
        • 3 meter range from target, single target skill, instant cast, 12 second cooldown
        • Prerequisite:
          • Decoy Stance
          • On resist with Shunpo/Sidestep Right
          • Heart Stab critical hit
        • Inflicts 1 stack of poison
        • Can be used one more time on critical hit
        • Reduced attack delay
    • Royal Zen Bean (PvP Merchant for 5,000 Zen Beans, 4,500 if Premium)
      • Stage 2 Tier 5:
        • Generates 10 focus on kill
        • Resets cooldown on kill
  • Mist Slash
    • Hongmoon Secret Technique (6 consumables, five from Skypetal Plain mob drops or Achievement Merchant for 10 Naryu Coins, last from Clan Crafting)
      • Stage 1 Tier 5: Next Heart Stab is guaranteed to be a critical hit on Mist Slash critical hit
      • Stage 2 Tier 5: Venom Pierce can be used on Mist Slash critical hit
  • Decoy
    • Fateful Tome/Retrieved Hongmoon Secret Technique - Volume 2 (Combining The Lost Hongmoon Arts Chapter 1 and 2 from 4-man Avalanche Den and Awakened Necropolis)
      • Stage 1 Tier 5: Resists damage and status effects for 2 seconds on successful counter.
      • Stage 2 Tier 5: Party members resists damage and status effects for 1 hit after exiting stealth on successful counter.
    • Retrieved Hongmoon Secret Technique - Volume 1 (Trading 300 Reclaimed Secret Techniques from Silverfrost Heroic Dungeon Dailies to the Achievement Merchant)
      • Stage 3 Tier 5: Blinds and deafens countered target for 2 seconds
  • Heart Stab:
    • Heart Stab Mastery (Chilling Flame Elixir, fused from Asura Ember from Sogun's Lament 4-man and Frozen Lamentation Stone bought from Cold Storage's vendor for 120 Freezing Orbs):
      • Increased attack speed
      • Generates 1 focus on critical hit
      • Dark Strike/Lightning Pierce can be used when using Heart Stab against Stunned, Dazed, Grabbed, or Phantom Gripped enemy
    • Bombard - Volume 1 (Combining ? from Sundered Nexus 4-man and ? bought from Mushin's Tower for 50 Naksun Tokens (Floor 9-15) and 10 Reclaimed Secret Techniques): Deals additional damage (1.5 attack power modifier) on enemies with 5 stack poison

The ones you want are Heart Stab, Shadow Slash for Venom Slash and Mist Slash for Venom Pierce proc, for better poison stacking. Shadow Slash knockdown is good for PvP, Shadow Slash far left does huge damage in PvP (though a choice between knockdown), Shadow Slash middle left is a so-so area of effect since its very easy to whiff but decent at best in Awakened Necropolis, Decoy's resist and party resist are obviously helpful if the opportunity presents itself (the former moreso in PvP), Decoy Stealth Protection for a second iframe is useful but currently doesn't see much use at the moment, and Decoy's blind is mostly a troll tool and only shines if you don't proc the Daze (and outshined by the resist anyway); the rest are pretty useless or not very advantageous.

We're missing the following Hongmoon skills:

  • Lotus of Escape:
    • Hongmoon Secret Technique
      • Stage 1 Tier 5 (Party Pull): Reduces chi recovery time by 6 seconds on Recovering Chi phase on Escape Call.
      • Stage 2 Tier 5 (Lotus of Poison): Stacks 5 poison on Poison Call.
      • Stage 3 Tier 5 (Lotus of Rescue): Rescue Called party members resist damage and status effects for 1 hit within 3 seconds.
      • Stage 4 Tier 5 (Fighting Spirit):
        • Dark Strike, Lightning Pierce, and Lightning Rod deal +100% additional damage during Amplification (basically 2x damage).
        • Lightning Rod cooldown decreased by 6 seconds on Lightning Pierce hit during Amplification
  • Shadow Dash (Unlearnable in any server):
    • Stage 1 Tier 5: Resists damage and status effects for 2 seconds on successful stealth
    • Stage 2 Tier 5 (Sidewinder): Enters stealth for 6 seconds on critical hit.
  • Lotus Fury (Unlearnable in any server):
    • Stage 1 Tier 5: Heals 50% of damage dealt.
    • Stage 2 Tier 5 (Lotus Kick): No longer costs 2 focus; generates 5 focus on hit.
  • Stealth (Tab skill, unlearnable in any server):
    • Stage 1 Tier 5: Resists stun and daze for 5 seconds after usage.

Hongmoon Lotus of Escape are obviously massive bonuses, but Sidewinder, and Lotus Kick are still largely overshadowed/mostly useless even with Hongmoon.

Can you please explain the " unlearnable in any server", I mean what's the reason? It may be cuz is a very very end game (ex. hm 20) thing, thats why?

They simply don't exist and I think they will never exist - at least in that exact form. 

 

Why? Because they are simply OP and would destroy the balance completely.

The data is there but no way to learn them, in any server.
Dash left and dash right are not availble anywhere too.

BM Cyclone HM Skill just double the CD xD...

I have a question. Atm im saving money to buy HM decoy or HM RB. Those 2 seconds resist you get. Can you stay stealthed within 2 seconds even if you are effected by summoners doom and bloom? Because i get the dot everytime even if i lotus him and he casts it into my resist. Or is this just a bug. Else i would buy the HM Rb first. I hope you can understand what i just wrote^^

Yep, that's why HM woodblock is so damn important vs the summoner matchup. 

If you're more into PvP definetly invest into HM block first.
