Overflow of letters and "books" quest items.

I have an immense amount of those letters and books that when opened give a quest, problem is that they can't be destroyed or sold , and i was wondering if there's anything to do besides leaving them occupying valuable space. Thanks

Just accept them and then abandon the quest.
