Spent $1500 trying to get Fragrance of Life, got nothing. Can I just have it?

You would have been able to rationalized that spending this amount money is just plain stupid and treasure your hard earned money so that you can spend on sensible things.  I have a job that pays very well too and for you to say that money is not such a big deal to me shows how much you are willing to justify your greedy actions.  I just hope you do not go down this path again really.

Haha, well. You seem pretty eager to act like you know me when you don't. I don't see how I've been greedy here. I spent my own money on something (sort of) for myself. I've already acknowledged it was a stupid thing to do. I appreciate part of your sentiment, though. I'm definitely done with NCoins.

Waw.

OP would you mind taking a ss of the transaction history on your account? You know, the costumes you bought to salvage for the fabric?

Cut out everything else, just show the ncoin transactions, the one that shows the items that was bought ingame with ncoin. You can block out the transaction number and everything, just show the items and date they were bought and you have mad props for the biggest rnger I've heard of.

It's not that I have a problem showing part of my transaction history, exactly, but if I do that are people going to start telling me I photoshoped it? Admins/devs/etc. that actually have the power to do something in this situation will be able to verify it.

I highly doubt that, but I'd believe that someone would spend 1500$ in total. Anything is possible and some people are extremely vulnerable when it comes to gambling aspects in games. A friend of mine spent 250€ in a very short amount of time for ingame boxes in another game, which are gambling in a way. If you're even close to that, get help.

Gambling isn't legal where I live, so people here have to go for a pretty good drive if they want to visit a casino. I've never gone because of that. I'm really starting to appreciate what a blessing that distance is.

Not to be a sceptical or come across as envious but that doesn't prove anything, show us the ncoin spending transactions...here's a small example of what I mean. Its on your account as a permanent record.

Lol why you telling me that, im not claiming thats me, in fact i don't even know any of these people. All i did was linked a reddit post by someone who claims to have spend that much. Ask the guy on reddit who posted that if you really want to find out.

Hes not greedy at all,iv seen far larger amount of money that people have spent on games and in comparison to what he spent it's like buying a bread in store.

It's his money and if he earns enough to "throw" it away like that, well then it's his choice, what he did could be considered greedy if he had to bid money for that outfit/pouch and bid highest amount so he can get it.

What he did was in no way greedy,my only problem is that he spent it on Nc Soft game, they don't deserve any kind of money from players, judging how badly they are taking care of this game they should just give it to some other publisher as they did with Aion.

Still waiting on that ncoin spending history. Someone claiming the image is photo shopped is highly unlikely and you will most likely be able to tell the difference anyway.

Its not hard, the records are permanently documented in your account all you have to do is screen shot the mass purchases of the rng boxes, since they were bought with ncoin the transaction will be on permanent record. You've only further fortified our suspicion of your claim being false when this may not be the case.

You're losing me here. There's no RNG boxes involved in this. Like I said in my first post, I bought NCoins, bought gold from the Currency Exchange, and used that to buy fabrics.

I could post shots of the NCoin purchase history. Like I said, I don't exactly have any problems doing that. But who would that help, exactly?

yeah when i learned that about transmutating costumes i was happy. then i learned that i csn only salvage them from store costumes.... and that even if i did salvage alot rng can still *cricket* my over immensly. As soon as i learned that i just denied it as an option because that is a complete rip off.

Oh my bad forgot that bit. Then the ncoin purchase history then. Block out everything else(payment method etc) except the amount of ncoin purchased? It wont help anyone exactly but it will throw all suspicion out the window.

Knowing ncwest it's also another removed feature.

I don't understand why they force censorships on american imports yet allow gambling games.

Thaks to ppl that like to throw toons of €/$ in a RNG they'll never change the way to get fabrics.

Do you know that in other countries Fabrics can be obtained by breaking other normal outfits goten for free in game? Like Jianshi ones....

Here, in Wester marked (and TW/CN maybe) fabrics and only be obtained thru breaking models from shop, but the original (KR nad JP) game is not designed that way, so it requires a lot of fabrics and the chances for getting something are low becuase they're though for the first instance to be gotten by other (free) and normal way.

Better give me the money next time :3

Yea I had a mind this was the case cause when you put your arrow over the costume sample in the wardrobe there are some of them that you get in game that shows u get fabric when its salvaged but when you actually get the costume that isnt the case. Cash grab and I hate it. But they know how compulsive the western culture is compared to eastern or asian culture. So we pay the price for those with the bad habits.

To all those who are asking for screenshots:

Spending $1500 in 2 months is nothing unusual. This target group (people like OP) is called the category "big whales" in the MMO monetarization. They usually are young, male, good educated (university degree, master or above), single and the MMO is their primary hobby. Keep in mind that a fresh master graduate starts with at least €3000 per month (gross). Living alone, not supporting a family, you can easily spend $750 a month. Even if OP didnt spend it exactly on this costume only, he represents a small minority that steers (nearly) the whole MMO monetarization.

Keep in mind that our generation is not the only who had this extent. The generation before did not play MMO but e.g. Golf. And this is not less costly.

The real problem:

As long as the money spent generates enough turnover and thus profit, BnS "has no problems with bots or whatsoever". Also, these monetarization models can easily be deceptive and publishers like Gameforge (EU Tera) nearly solely focus upon big whales. This could make the really good costumes been put behind a horrible paywall. Plus, no (only little) effort will be given into solving the actual issues at hand.

Well, I'm currently stuck in Mexico for 10 more days while the bank twiddles their fingers after someone stole my debit card and played with all my dollars. So if people are giving away new pc's how about a shiny plane ticket too? lol

Same. I don't think it would make a difference when it comes to playing BnS though. But it would certainly get rid of all my bottlenecking

i just realized something in Korea you can just salvage any outfit to get fabric so why cant NA sever get it like that.

No one should spend 1500 on outfit's just to salvage and have duplicates of the same clothing and the worst thing

is you cant sell or trade them.

Stop feeding the Ncsoft pigs money while your wallet gets smaller unless your a

CEO of multi million dollar company witch you clearly are.

One word:  bots.

They didn't want bots to have a way to farm outfits to salvage into fabrics so they nerfed all the in game costumes.

This.

In korea, people need to use identification number to play the game, even if it is F2P.

No need to bite off the heads of those skeptical. The time it took for you to type and post this, op could have made and posted a screenshot that would have sufficed. Easily. No worries no problems, skeptics are proven wrong and all doubt is cast aside.

I've seen and experience enough bullshit irl and online to know that people will say something that never happened to them or exaggerate their own ordeals. If OP doesn't want to produce a screenshot no problem, no one has the right to hold it against him but the same rules apply if skeptics remain skeptical, you cant hold it against them for having doubts or filing a bullshit claim.

Sure proof will never satisfy everyone but it sure will quell most doubters better than just word of mouth or a screenshot with an inventory clustered with crap.
