Yashuoa
So my warlock is lvl 9 now. How something works in pve, can be different from how it works in pvp. As a new player the impression I have from warlock is that it would be predictable for opponents in pvp (to be clear I havent done pvp yet). I might be wrong though. As said I am a new player so this impression might be wrong due to knowledge that I still lack about the class and the game. For exampl: Our #2 and #3. I use them on a pve enemy and he will be stuck in it for several seconds, till I can launch the instant #4 for the 2 3 4 combo However how will this work in pvp? How many counters does a pvp enemy have vs this to get out of #2 and #3 or to avoid the slow instant #4? Often in games, builds who have to stand still and with casttimes for strong but slow attacks are hard to pull off in pvp, because of how counterable they are. So I was wondering, how is this in the case of warlock?
Grillz
Go dragon helix. Dragoncall gets blocked 9/10 anyway (plat and above that is.) Once you're a higher level you'll have way more instant casts (besides wingstorm maybe) because no way in hell is anyone gonna allow you to just 3 them lol, higher ranked locks make sure to spec the daze effect on the 3 and the knock up on the warlock pet. Meaning once you daze them It'll be followed up by a knock up, followed up by your wingstorm/dragonhelix combo which brings them at 50% or lower. Rince and repeat. Ofcourse this isn't as easy to pull off in practice as it is in theory, specially in our weaker but okay state. Just research the class and honestly, experience the class first before thinking ahead that much, if any watch a youtube guide, try out builds and read your skills :) You'll know what works best for your playstyle, I've seen dragoncall builds succeed (cause when they hit, it counts.....) I just don't prefer it since I spam 4+f whenever I get my combo rolling.

My only point of concern would be that Wingstorm (and rupture for that matter) cannot hit airborn targets, and the knock up would limit your ability to damage the target instead. I'm under the assumption that the Thrall's knock up is intended to be used with Stage 2 Dragon call, Obliterate (which is a massive nuke on airborn targets if you can pull it off), and Stage 2 Soul Shackle which extends airborn time.
