Not sure if the form 3 spam with Fighting Spirit is gonna still be possible after the next update. We're gonna get the January KR patch and there is quite a lot of KFM changes in it, one of them being this one :

 

Spirit Burst (TAB)
– Move Tier 4/5 Stage 4 to Stage 4/5 Stage 3
– Tier 4/5 Stage 3: the effect of “reduce the CD of Shattering Fist (4) by 4 sec when party members attack” is changed to “reduce CD by 5 sec”
– Tier 4/5 Stage 3: AOE is changed to 50m

 

Spirit Burst being Fighting Spirit, and Shattering Fist being Comet Strike. From what I understand, the CD will no longer be reduced by 4sec for every single attack a party member does on the boss, but instead will be reduced by a flat 5sec ONE single time when you pop Fighting Spirit and done.

Hmm, thanks for the info.

 

Looks like there are some nerfs for the fire KFM build. Less threat, less damage, but faster smite cd (which is also used in the wind build). sadface

Yeah wind build is the superior DPS build anyway as long as you have a good ping and you know how to ani-cancel. In KR it's even more the case. And the Smite CD reduction is an actual buff to the wind build since it deals wind damage and there is elemental damage bonuses in level 50 gear. Fire build just gives more health regen and party support with the Searing Palm uptime.
