OhMightyOne Posted March 10, 2016 Share Posted March 10, 2016 ATR BladeMaster HM 4 Introduction & reason: I have decided to make a quick post/guide for Blademasters. I’ll show/explain some PvE and PvP combos and builds I used. *Warning* some may disagree with the builds and combos I use, but hey if you have a better version, please leave the details below. *Build PvE (Non-boss): LMB – Breeze T4 M3 LMB – Flicker T4 M1 LMB – Cyclone T2 M3 RMB – Pierce T3 M1 RMB – Honed Slash T1 M1 F – Flash Step T2 M1 TAB – Lunar Slash T2 M2 TAB – Second Wind T2 M3 1 – Block T2 M3 3 – Sundering Sword T4 M3 3 – Five Point Strike T3 M1 4 – Lightning Draw T2 M1 Z – Soaring Falcon T1 M1 X – Boot T2 M1 C – Shoulder Charge T2 M2 C – Lightning Retribution T2 M1 V – Blade Call T2 M2 SS – Evade T1 M1 Combos PvE (Non-boss): 1(Successful block) + LMB + RMB + RMB (until out of focus) 1(Successful Block) + LMB + Q + RMB + LMB (until out of focus) 2 + X + Q + RMB + LMB + RMB + LMB (until out of focus) 2 + C + F + RMB + Z + LMB + 3 + Q + RMB + LMB (until out of focus) 2 + C + F + RMB + Z + LMB + SS + 3 + LMB + LMB + TAB + 4 + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) 2 + C + F + Z + V + RMB + V + LMB + C + 3 + Q + RMB + LMB + RMB + LMB + 3 + LMB + LMB 2 + 3 + Q + RMB + LMB + RMB + LMB (until out of focus) + auto atk (until full focus) 2 + 3 + Q + RMB + LMB + RMB + LMB (until out of focus) + auto atk (until full focus) + X + C + F + RMB + Z + LMB + TAB + 4 + RMB + LMB *Build PvE (Boss) Everything is the same from above except; 3 – Five Point Strike T3 M2 Combos PvE (Boss) V + V + 3 + C + Q + LMB + X + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) V + V + X + 3 + C + Q + LMB + X + RMB + LMB (until out of focus)(use this when tanking vs range) 2 + SS + 3 + RMB + LMB + RMB + LMB(until out of focus)(and switch back to normal stance) + C + Auto(until full focus) + 3 + Q + RMB + LMB + RMB + LMB(when low on focus and had crit with LMB) + F(Flash Step over and over (3 times) if crit) + 1(Successful block) + LMB + Q + RMB + LMB (until out of focus) + Auto(near full focus) + 3 + 4 + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) Overall when fighting boss the high damage rotation are: 3 + Q + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) + Auto(full focus) + 4 + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) + Auto(full focus) + Q + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) + Auto(full focus) + SS + 2 + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) + Auto(full focus) + Q and repeat. Full combo I mostly use on boss: V + V + C + 3 + Q + LMB + X + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) + C + Auto(full focus) + Q + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) + Auto(full focus) + 4 + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) + Auto + Z + Q + RMB + LMB(until out of focus) + Auto + SS + 2 + RMB + LMB and repeat The only thing that might change from combo to combo is you have to use your block and then cyclone in which case get back into draw stance(Q, 4, SS) ASAP because after you use cyclone you get focus regain for 3 second. *Build PvP: The build for PvP may vary upon players but here is mine. LMB – Breeze T4 M3 LMB – Flicker T3 M2 RMB – Honed Slash T1 M1 F – Flash Step T2 M1 F – Take Flight T2 M1 TAB – Lunar Slash T3 M2 TAB – Second Wind T3 M3 (standard) ---- VS Des, BD, FM ---> T3 M1 1 – Block T2 M2 2 – Rush T2 M1 3 – Sundering Sword T4 M3 3 – Five Point Strike T3 M1 4 – Lightning Draw T2 M1 Z – Soaring Falcon T1 M1 X – Boot T2 M1 C – Shoulder Charge T3 M3 C – Lightning Retribution T2 M2 V – Blade Call T2 M2 SS – Evade T1 M1 Combos PvE: Before I start sharing my combos I would like to say these are my combos I use, if you have a better combo and build please put the detail below. Main combo: 2 + F + V + RMB + V + LMB + 3 + C + 4 + RMB + LMB + 3 + LMB + X + Z + LMB + Z + X + TAB + Q + RMB + LMB Option combo: 2 + F + RMB + Z + LMB + 3 + TAB + 4 + RMB + LMB 1(Successful block) + 2 + LMB(if you do it quickly you can rush + cyclone) + X + 4 + RMB + LMB + 3 + RMB + Z + LMB+ 3 + TAB + Q + RMB + LMB Most likely be the combo you will use, due to opponents will get out of your CC. 2(if they get out of your CC) + C(if they get out of your CC again) + SS + 3 (if they block your knock up) + X(if they get stun) + F + Z + RMB + V + LMB + V + C + 3 + 4 + LMB + X + RMB + LMB Similar to the one above, but in different situation; 2(if they get out of your CC) + C(if they get out of your CC again) + SS + 3 + V + RMB + V + LMB + 3 + C + 4 + RMB + LMB + E + X + TAB + SS + 2 + RMB + LMB Similar to the one above, but in different situation; 2 + F + RMB + LMB + TAB(if they get out of your CC) + SS(quick ss) + 3 + Z + LMB + V + LMB + V + C(as soon as they hit the ground so it will daze them) + 3 + 4 + RMB + LMB Similar to the one above, but in different situation; 2 + F + RMB + LMB + TAB(if they get out of your CC) + SS(quick ss) + 3 + Z + LMB + LMB + C + Q + RMB + LMB I hope this guide help those BladeMaster whom been looking for a guide. Just a reminder, this guide I made was my own, it might not be the best guide out there, but it is something to show off a few combos. As you gain more experiences, you will figure what combo is best and what is not, same thing for the build path. Also the skill points may not fit those below HM 4, but I am pretty sure you guys can readjust the tree. Ex. In my combo I hardly use Flash Step. Els Posted March 10, 2016 Share Posted March 10, 2016 F1 requires parry, F2, F3 only block. F1 is for more experienced BMs imo, and required Block F2. If people go with Block F3, they cannot parry, and cannot use Cyclone F1. OP uses Block F2, so he could go with Cyclone F1, guess it's just a matter of preference to not have to parry in order to use cyclone but just block. I don't have the skill, otherwise I would use it. 3 hours ago, Dlacik said: Why T2S3 cyclone when focus regen buff from T2S1 cyclone lasts longer and gives more focus? Yes, it is true that it give you more focus, however not everyone can parry an attack within the .5 second, therefore it is much "better" to use M3, but if you are experienced and can time it, I would suggest going with M1. Well, i think using T2S1 cyclone would help ppl to learn to block correctly. With S3 they can be lazy cause they aren`t forced to block correctly, this can also result in dps loss because of needlessly long blocks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But for new blade master it would be best if they don't have to time the parry to use cyclone, until they get used to and know the timing to parry that's when they can change it to the M1 of cyclone for the focus. But at the end of the day, the player make the decision to use which ever one they like more. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JinGhoul Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 Thanks for the guide, this is what i like to see when i search up for guides. Like you said, not the best for everyone but i see it as a starting point where you can change it up later after u know the skills later on to the player's liking. Both of these are the first skills you use on an airborne target, and both of them keep the target in the air for you to use your second skill on them. For the first skill (right after you lift your target): The LMB skill is called Rising Eagle. The RMB skill is called Heavenly Dance. For the second skill(after your use the above mentioned LMB or RMB): The LMB skill is called Ascend. The RMB skill is called Crash. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ayane69 Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 Thanks for the info, haven't been online for a while so took a while to reply. I wanted to know so if I could, I'd put points into those "combos" or not. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
