dragon nest? Because the nest difficulty is so high that. No bots can ever be smart enough to clear it. requires too much effort to program 1 that works.

Instanced dungeon MMOs in general have a lower number of bots. Some don't have one at all. Take a look at PSO2. It plays so much like a console hack and slash game that it would be next to impossible to program a bot for that game. That would be like trying to program a bot for Devil May Cry or God of War. It's just too complex to simply have the bot target an enemy and perform skill rotations in games like that.
