Can't Patch Past 11%

At first I couldn't connect, after several times of CTRL + ALT + DEL and ending the NClauncher, I finally get in, then I logged out about an hour later, tried logging in, it wouldn't repair, it was 0/85, because of that stupid local.ini crap, so I re-installed the entire game and now the damn thing won't patch past 11%.

How the hell can I fix this? This NCSoft launcher is so stupid.

Initially it was frozen at 99%, but now it's 3.1MB/11.1MB and will not update any further, I've tried repairing, restarting, re-installing, VPN services, I've tried killing the Razer programs, disabling the firewall, disabling UAC, absolutely nothing works. It was just fine yesterday, I haven't installed anything new whatsoever. WTF is going on!?

The game won't even startup for me when I try to launch the game.

The same thing happened to my gf sitting right next to me, but she got in on her second try, I've tried re-starting the launcher upwards of 30 times now to no avail.

My launcher just gets stuck at 0% for Downloading repair files after I click the play button.

Yep, I uninstalled it again and now that's my problem, this is now error #5 by my count while trying to make the damn thing work.

Stuck at 0%, won't even patch now, compiling list of update files.

Maybe it's just one of those nights to bust a movie out or hit the hay early.

Downloader just came back to life after being dead for an hour or so open on my comp., 1.8 MB/s now

Having the same issue here, tried repair files since this happened after a crash in game happened, led me straight to not downloading the repair files. Uninstalled and re-installed the game. Managed to get in after that but game crashed again after that and now currently back into the same situation.

Well, it finally finished downloading but now it's once again stuck in "Compiling list of repair files" and it's 0%, 0 Bytes/ 0 Bytes. I'm guessing if I just let it sit for an hour or so it'll finish.

Did you at least put in a support ticket addressing the issue? I'm currently trying some self troubleshoots on my end before I put in my ticket for this.

Not yet, my experience with support so far has been generic cut and paste crap, if I sent it to them they'd likely respond with "IS YOUR MONITOR ON AND INTERNET CONNECTED? DID YOU CHECK YOUR FIREWALL? HOW ABOUT RE-INSTALLING THE GAME?" and would serve mostly just to infuriate me more.

Not to mention that it'd take two days before they'd even get back to me with said generic bullshit.

It appears that letting it sit for 20-30 minutes allows it to finally launch the game when it's idling on the 0/85 thing.

Garbage.

Yeah, that's something that I've heard about but I haven't done support with ncsoft myself. Even if the immediate response doesn't help, it should give more exposure to the issue so that the devs can track it down.

 

Anyway, I also got in after I did a file repair option to see if it would do the same but it downloaded the repair files as normal. I'll keep posted at least to figure out troubleshoots if the problem persists.
