Game Crashes after Splash Screen

Hi,

 

I was playing fine after the patch earlier today. I exited out of the client and everything worked as expected.

 

When I tried to log in at approximately 6:20pm PST, the game crashes immediately after the splash screen. Further, there was a crash reporter app that was launched by the game during the crash. This crash reporter also crashes.

 

My system is Windows 10, 64-bit if that matters. The game runs in admin mode.

When I launch the game, I did notice that gameguard is now enabled again.

 

Prior to gameguard being disabled, my system handled the game fine. 

 

I use logitech for mouse and steelseries for keyboard in case those software may conflict.

i have the same problem! you fixed it now ? your gameguard are disabled ? how you do it, if you fix it help me pls

nothing is fixed, just trying to provide more information. I can't disable gameguard (it was disabled by NCSoft prior to this update but looks like it was re-enabled)

I exited out of both the logitech software as well as the steelseries software, but the game still crashes immediately.

maybe is a problem of the gameguard, is making crash the game, im trying to reinstall the game, i will tell you if it works

I just fixed this issue on my computer by closing down "Amd Evolved gaming"   I think AMD evolved gaming and Game Guard are conflicting with each other.      Not sure if its an amd only issue or not.     Was something that amd just implemented in the beginning of February.        Not even sure what its used for.

Was working fine for a couple weeks and after today's patch and the return of gameguard i can't get past character select in any razer service configuration.

amd is just for amd graphics cards right ? i use EVGA D:

I don't use AMD, so that's not the issues. I guess it's possible it's related to the nvidia geforce experience

 

Edit - I exited from nvidia and that didn't help.

I don't use AMD either, I don't run geforce experience, only the drivers.

2 comments from reddit so far:

1) fixed the issue by disabling the "mouse macro" program

2) fixed the issue by disabling AVG

 

I don't use either of those programs so it doesn't help me

Another poster on reddit said the program was Raptr for him

Some suggesting temporarily disable your virus detection software... that seems to have helped some people.

Looks like the cause for me was Raptr desktop client for raptr.com.  I've had this installed for years but as soon as i shut it down I can get in.

Stupid gameguard.

Disabling my AVG protection fixed it for me. Might be an antivirus conflict for some of your guys as well

I was able to resolve by disabling Nahimic audio

All this random stuff we have to disable, gameguard is such a virus.

Yeah, it's much to old of a program to be using in 2016. No safeguard against bots either. Glad some of you guys got it to work!

It is work's! i disabled the AVG protection and now i can play, thanks for the tips!

Ending the Raptr.exe process did it for me! Thanks for info!

Even worse for me after game patch slow to load then freezes computer after splash try to do every suggest made but no luc have to force restart every tme
