Friend Deleted His Hongmoon Weapon And I Have No Clue How To Get Him A New One

I know its in the jadestone valor merchant but i don't know why on earth it costs blackram insignia's.

 

I have looked and asked everywhere and i cant even find where they drop.

 

Not only that my friend just reached jadestone so now he cant even get to songshu isle if its there.

 

Why do the accessory's cost stones but not the weapon btw?

 

Cant say i blame him though since if your new to bns after playing normal mmos you don't expect the first weapon you get to be the only upgradeable weapon in the game and everything else is just upgrade mats lol.

 

So anyone know?

They don't drop. Go to bamboo Village weapon merchant. I think I saw it there.

you have to kill Bamboo Guards in a Blackram Uniform until a Boss shows up, you kill him and get 1-2 insignias, have him do a support ticket, if he is under level 15 reroll is a possibility as well

You might have to get some people to help out and farm the Insignia with you and your friend to make it go faster.

I really think they should add Hongmoon weapons to the Dragon Express merchant.

Tried that it give bamboo not blackram.

They drop on top of the mountain on the left in Songshu Isle.

It's the opposite, he needs to equip the bamboo guard uniform and go kill blackram pirates that are near the sentinel outpost, then the captain gwon will spawn and give the blackram insignias

As I mentioned above: Would it be possible Hime to have them added to the portable dragon express merchants along with all the weapon merchants / general merchants scattered around the map for a bog basic price of around 10/30 bronze? Would save the support team getting lots of requests of having them restored along with people being able to buy multiples to level up and buy different vanity sets for each Hongmoon weapon?

No because it would take a week and its just faster to get the insignia's since i have multiple level 45 chars to help.

 

No offense to support but they take quite awhile.

 

I do recommend they change the insignia's for it to viridian valor stones though so new players that do mess up like this can fix their mistake easily.

Try escorting your friend back to Bamboo Village, there you can buy it from the weapon merchant for just 3 copper.

 

If you do not want to travel, I believe you have to wear the Bamboo Faction Uniform and kill the Blackrams to get those insignias.

Thats a stone weapon not hongmoon to replace the one he lost.

 

He needs hongmoon aka the only actual weapon in the game atm.

I think the hongmoon items are in Jadestone village from the person you can trade the valor stones for soul shield pieces, next to the daily notice board. Dont recall it costing insigs tho.

Are you sure it's a Stone Weapon, and not the Hongmoon Weapon?

I did a lot of searching online and it's stated it's the Hongmoon Weapon in multiple threads from other websites, not the Stone one.

I am not sure myself, since I do not remember, so I may be wrong.

 

I guess try wearing the Bamboo Faction outfit and go on a Blamram killing spree, then?

Yep, that is the correct answer, In jadestone village next to notice board the trader has it for few stones from dailies. you can get the dailies next to him and farm it in 5 minutes.

Checked them all and nope so im just waiting for him to get to songshu via the story.

For both of us it shows up as blamram insignias though?

 

It even has the blackram insignia pic and the tooltip says blackram insignia >.> actually heres a pic as proof.

Maybe nc accidentally changed it or something because it really makes no sense for it to cost blackram insignia's since beginners could never be able to even kill the boss for the insignia's.

Since official launch it has always been insignias.  You can get them from Sentinel Coast near Songshu Isle. Kill lots of the Blackram mobs on the hill and the boss will spawn, he drops 1/2 at a time. I'll go there and get an image of the map.

Right so let's change the entire game because your friend made a stupid rookie mistake. Honestly he just got to jadestone? It would be faster to delete and remake his character at that rate. You've been told how to get the insignaias. All you're doing at this point is whining. Say thank you for the help offered here, and go solve your problem, because posting over and over complaining about it isn't going to change anything. 

 

Support has generally been pretty fast (a couple of hours) with restoring items, if threads on reddit are to be believed. But by all means, continue to ignore the obvious solution in favor of making things more difficult for everyone involved.

The problem is the Insignias are quite a way away from Jadestone village along with the fact that if he has no decent weapon he is going to be struggling to get that far. I agree with you on support: Depending on the issue they have been ever so quick in responding, but I guess it will be dependant if you end up mailing them when they are flooded with emails or not.

Are you like... on the same level as your friend or are you a higher level?

 

I don't see any problems with helping your friend if you're of a higher level, literally takes a good 15mins or so to get 3 Blackram insignias.

The problem is Blackram Insignias and Hongmoon Weapon isn't tradable... at all. All they can do is help with clearing out mobs.

just make a party, and hit boss a few times, that drop 1 insignia just for hit a bit.
