A pig in a poke bug

I know this has already been brought up but I need help with this quest and the bug that doesn't let it finish. I've tried reinstalling the client,restarting the game numerous times and rebooting my pc and have had no luck. Is there something I can do to bypass the bug so I can finish this quest or am I screwed till its fixed?
