Inevia
Hello everyone. I have always been playing the game in low settings since I used to own a NVidia 640. Recently I bought a GTX 970 so that I can fully enjoy the game that I love but to my surprise I can't get more than 30-45 FPS in combat no matter if I have my settings set to full or optimized for combat. Solo Dungeons are "fine", ranging from 55-70 fps but anything close to a 4man or a 6man makes the game die. Especially open world, even if I am absolutely alone in the screen. Specs: CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz RAM: 8.00 GB @ 1.333 OS: 64-bit Operating System, x64 based processor (Windows 8.1) SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB Graphics Card: nVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB DDR5 PCI-E Dual DVI HDMI Triple DP CPU usually runs at 30% and RAM at 40% so I don't think there should be anywhere near to a problem. Others suggest I switch to Windows 7 cause the game runs better. Others suggest a format and better optimization. What do I do? It just feels so wrong after all this investment :S
Eska
Hey there! If You would invest that money into good CPU Your FPS count would rise. This game is heavily pushed my CPU, and it can use only single core. More math power on single CPU = more profit = more FPS. Most of the mmos are like that. BTW, You have K processor, do something with that letter, OC it ;) Thats what K cpus are for mate!
