merchants and miscellanius

guys i have a bunch of miscellanius items that say merchants will pay a fair price for these! i sell them for 1 copper! who are the merchants and how can  sell them for more?

You can't, everything has a vendor value of 1 copper, whether it be a level 6 white soul shield or a level 45 epic weapon. I guess this is to stop bots from making money, but we all know how well it works to curb gold farmers....
