Profane Staff vs Siren Staff

How often does Siren Staff trigger, because True Profane is a damage hose when activated, and it activates for so long. Siren Staff would have to trigger at least 5x as often to make up for the loss of True Profane, yet I cannot imagine a competent company making the upgraded weapon WORSE.

Siren actually triggers quite a bit now after patch. It still triggers less than profane, but it is stronger. You'll want to go to pirate in the end anyways.

How is it stronger if it triggers less than True Profane? True Profane is basically 10 seconds of infinite focus. Siren must give some effects not listed then?

Siren Staff also gives you 15% more damage on Briar Patch ^_^

Ah missed to say one more thing, i noticed that when profane bonus was up it never procs again till effect vanish, but with siren sometimes it procs 2-3 times in a few hits.

 

But you have to consider something else, if you have unlocked Sunflower Legenday Skill, you have 5 seconds of 0 chi free casting, that you can easily reach with Siren Staff, if you get it with Profane Bonus the bonus itself is wasted since you get nothing from it. ^_^

In the 2nd to last patch, they fixed the Siren staffs. Before the Profane was worth keeping as it was indeed dealing more dmg.

 

Just remember that you won't see any real different between Profane/Siren, until the Siren is at Stage 10.
