How to make profile picture a GIF in game?

  • Make a .gif with these dimensions: width: 413px, height: 678px, file size doesn't matter.

  • rename it to asdasd.gif.jpg put it in C:\Users\username\Pictures\BnS\CharacterShot go ingame and upload it.

  • You can make your own gif or use http://ezgif.com/resize to resize one.

how can u guys do that.. i tried a static photo and still not working.. been doing this for 2 hours now.. makes me wanna bring my whole case and throw it on the face of the devs

You actually don't need to resize it, it just has to be below a few MB in filesize, and the game will auto-resize it if necessary. Just rename it to "name.gif.jpg" (the name part doesn't matter), if you rename it to just .jpg that kills the image so don't do that, has to be .gif.jpg. One possible issue might be that you have file extensions hidden, if so you need to enable them: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hide-file-name-extensions#show-hide-file-name-extensions=windows-7

That means it's not a valid image. Either it's too big of a file, or it's broken (like if, say, you renamed it to .jpg instead of .gif.jpg at any point).
