Aerial Launch attacks

I feel like a lot of dps is lost in 24-man or 6-man dungeons when someone does those aerial launch skills. Is it doing more harm than good? I don't understand why some people do it.

It happens with joint attacks and spamming keys. I try not to do it a lot, but sometimes it is good to stop bosses from launching an attack.

As you say, is a DPS loss. Is quite annoying because there are classes that spams their RBM to deal  dmg. But they throw him to the air as well with RBM  when the enemy is dazed or stunned..etc. With 6+  people hitting one NPC is not easy for a beginner to stop spamming RBM because the boss will be dazed or stunned soon for a party  member.
