"An error has occurred in your Blade and Soul client"

Hello! Adding yet another post about this issue, I've looked all over but haven't found an answer that works.

This is the error I have been receiving:

 

I'm running Windows 7 professional from a virtual machine on my macbook, I feel that may be the problem but I've had no issues running programs like this in the past so I feel as though it's fine?

 

I've tried deleting the gameguard folder as suggested, turning off the firewall, and I do not have a configuration file in my /documents/bns/ folder. I don't own any razer products either. I've reinstalled the game and Windows a few times now.

 

I have all the versions of C++ and .NET 4.5

Any help would be appreciated, I'm just dying to make a cute girl at this point that's all I want ;_;
