Blade and Soul sucks for new players.

So I hit 45, feeling genuinely happy that I can finally play the actual game.

 

Uh huh... dream on. 

You land in a world where you're an ant with your level 36 items, everything has a multitude of your hp and several magnitudes above your damage. 

 

Veteran player though, won't scare me THAT easily.

I don't have money for anything, thus I go and try to do dailies.

I spend 6 hours dying over and over in the Supply, finally make it to Nightshade.

 

Nobody ever invites and even if they do, they only care for the mobs they need. They leave you dying on the floor and who cares.

Required mobs take a long while to spawn, some of them over an hour.

Otherwise if somebody touches one of the named mobs, they get credit and you don't.

 

You need that rare boss that only spawns once maybe every two hours?

Don't die!

All the damage you do to the boss will be for naught if you succumb to one of his many, unsignaled sudden one-shot unblockables.

Healing potions and full hp restores? Forget it. 

If I ran dry of 50 each, you'll feel the pain too.

The biggest issue: Money.

You get to have Coppers, Silvers, Gold for coins.

Now, every item, regardless of level or value, sells for 1 copper for whatever reason??!

There is an auction house to sell stuff for other players but the better items are bound to character (not account, for whatever reason)

and you can only sell a handful of items every 24 hours.

For whatever reason.

 

Whoever made up this system, wasn't thinking.

At all.
