Doom N Bloom Offically Nerfed (KR Patch Notes)

Yeah I was trying hard to figure out what had changed, but i confirmed with 2 other summoners.

1) Doom N Bloom's heal is greatly reduced, for single target too.

2) Cat does not hold aggro well at all anymore. I even specced it to hold aggro during curl - but mobs and bosses will often just disregard it entirely and aggro me (most cases) or another party member.

I am healing myself (Never spec'd for party heal either pre or after the patch.) and I still notice a great decline in healing from DnB.

the heal rate is 100% damage as heal...

before the patch i believe the heal you received is from all damage (including all AoE damage) of DnB... *thats why more crowd/mobs hit by DnB = more heal

after the patch, heal you received only from damage on one/first mob hit by DnB... *ignoring the AoE damage... so you will received less heal from DnB on crowded mobs than before patch...

Doom and Bloom does not aoe heal anymore. It only leach from one target. This GREATLY affects speed clearing in PvE daily quests which is annoying. Considering the amount of spells needed to kill a mobs and the chi cost of Sunflower it just isn't efficient anymore lol.

 

I can't even overheal two mobs, let alone do that major party safe. I simply get rekt everytime I encounter two dungeon mobs at the same time ha. However... the nerf itself seemed intentional. May of been broken and wasn't ment to be as big but will see.

Not intentional. Not in the update change log, and it's been added to the known issues by the staff.

So the bad news, based on a reddit post with somebody looking into Korean patch notes, Doom N Bloom is really nerfed.

It seems that they missed a couple of information on the full English patch. Whatever the KR notes change, I'd trust it more than NCSoft since they seem to have no power to do any special changes that are US specific.

pretty sure it doesn´t heal properly with sunflower. If i have it activated, and see a 6k crit hit, my hp doesn´t heal 6k too - more like 2k.

Maybe for the Koreans at lvle 50 with full of the skills and Hongmoon LvL 10 its was an intentional nerf.Not for our versio too ,makes no sense.

Any damage done by other skills like Sunflower while Doom N Bloom is active isn't suppose to heal you.

I am quite positive it´s all your dmg to initial target during those 5 seconds. I clearly see my hp healing when I deal damage - just way less than it used to - also on single targets.

Do you have any proof of your claim?!?! Also, healing 5 x (77-90) = 385-450 hp over 5 seconds is ridiculous when we´re running around with 35-50k hp.

You're the first one I've encountered who understands it that way. It's sort of understood that only the damage done by the skill itself will cause you to heal. At lvl 45 when we're running with 35k+ HP, it heals for around 3-5k total. The 77-90 is the base damage only. I don't have to give proof to this claim, that's just how the way it works ever since.

 

What we're debating about now if the heal of Doom N Bloon should considering AOE damage or not. Saying that hitting the target with other skills should also heal you is just wrong and a misinterpretation of the skill's description.

 

@Windy That's the problem. Even if we're still not level 50, we are already receiving skill updates from the latest KR version that affects our current available skills. The other listed changes in that KR patch notes has already been documented and implemented in-game.

Doom N Bloom only heals from the damage done by Doom itself. 100% of every tick on the primary target. Other skills dont heal you and it has always worked this way.
