You guys need to do SOMETHING.

First off, this is probably not the right place to make this post, but other places don't get the same kinda attention. I'm posting this in a VERY tilted state as what just happened to me left me with an extremely foul taste in my mouth.

Long story short. I made a new character, killed the Jiangshi boss at level 7 over and over to get my Stalker upgrade weapon. RNG decided be extremely cruel and now I'm left with NO keys, NO dumplings and basically my characters progression is 100% screwed over. I am aware that my case is probably very unusual, but it happened non the less.

IMO having a RNG based character progression system is just messed up in the first place, but since so many other aspects of the game is to my liking I chose to deal with it (until now). Even when it took 23 Golden Deva weapon boxes before I got my Golden Deva weapon upgrade and 16 runs through Blackram Narrows to get my lvl 20 weapon it was ok-ish as I had been given plenty of time to make money on that character as well as I had by that point obtained a ton of keys.

What happened with my newly made character however is unacceptable!  To allow brand new characters/players to experience the same kind of down and right (excuse the language here) bulls*it that I just did. I think we can ALL agree on that this SHOULDN'T happen to anyone, players and dev's alike as it's NOT a very good way to introduce new players to the game.

Now I'm going to go reroll my character as I am pretty much forced to thanks to this bad RNG  nonsense. So please. Do something about this so others wont have to go through the same exact thing in the future. I know you can.

Thanks for reading.

Marketplace and trading is unavailable at the level you need stalker weapons, and so are daily quests that come later on in the story, so you basically have no way to get the weapon if you run out of keys, unless you decide to go on with the story with a growingly underpowered weapon. Doable, but annoying, considering, from the surveys, that up to that point you're still considered to be doing a tutorial.
Also you can't buy upgrade weapons for a few coppers, the corrupted ones you need from darkglimpse sell for around 10 silver, and at that point of the game you won't be able to afford it, unless you managed to craft some premium lake mud refiners from merry potters and sell them; sure you can also sell your keys, but you need those for the purple weapons that are not tradable, and you want a lot of them, because having to wait a whole day for daily quests to reset and get new ones is very annoying, and I say that from experience, since I had to run blackram narrows 33 times to get my weapon, besides ending up getting it as a drop from the boss and not from the boxes, meaning 33 keys plus some from the daily quest reward down the drain basically for nothing. RNG is RNG, but it could be made a little less unforgiving to unlucky players, at least in the early stages of the game when you don't have the resources to deal with it.

RNG is not a mess of percentages, right? It's a completely random thing? If that's the case, i guess it's unfixable.

BUT, what if it could have percentages for the class weapons? Like, your class weapons has (e.g 30%) more of a chance to get dropped than other things, and after you got it, it goes back to the previous percentage. It's coding, ofc. But as i said, if it is absolutely  random and not changeable in any way, that wouldn't work. So idk, any solutions guys?

The only thing I think that can really prevent you from playing is if you ever find yourself with a broken weapon, no hammer, no money to buy new ones, and nothing valuable to sell. It's an extreme scenario, but I think it's possible... I wouldn't like to be the poor lad in that situation.

You'd have to only take non-violent daily quests in order to make just enough money to buy new hammers... which might take a while and be extremely boring.

Some weapons do seem to be harder to get, with my BD, BM and Sum I got their weapons from the first field raid pretty fast. My Assassin... when I got down to under 5 keys I said screw this and just bought his weapon on my higher level and mailed it over. My clan mate who also plays a dagger had the same issue for most of the game so far, it took forever to get the purple daggers and I would often buy his blue daggers.
