Npc names and crosshair not appearing

basically in game, the cross hair and npc names including player names do not show. When I press my inventory (I), the names will reappear but temporary. I tried to look it up and tweak the anti aisling stuff but it still doesn't work. It just happened to me today and and only today so far. Hopefully theres someone else with my problem that can help as well!.
