Cynrose
So, other than being told to die of cancer at the end of the dungeon by someone, the leader switched the loot to Heroic at the end of the dungeon and stole all the loot and left, thus I bring this to everyone running dungeons with unknowns: At the beginning of the dungeon, write the leader's name down. If at the end of the dungeon, he switches to Heroic and steals everyone's loot, submit a report with his character name at https://support.bladeandsoul.com/hc/en-us/requests/new to report them. The more of us do this the more chances there are we will see a change in the system where either the leader cannot change the loot system in combat or in the dungeon. That or a lot of these a**holes will get banned. We need to work together to stop this practice!
CortiCarta
Careful on naming people, heard you can't single anyone out on forums.
chinmi
a moderator will definitely come to this thread and either delete the thread or edit OP's comment to protect the culprit. yes... ncsoft is protecting the identity of the people that give other people bad experience in the game on the other hand, lots of legit player is banned too, so guess they just want bots, gold seller and abuser in the game, and not those that play legit, love the game and respect other player while playing BnS
Centimani
Ninja master looting is not against the rules according to NCsoft, they will only tell you not to group with people you don't know.

So abusing the system is not against the rules? Awesome. I'll do it too then. But just like it happened to me... seconds before the boss dies. Lets see how much use the Cross Server dungeon gets when everyone is afraid of partying with new people.

Technically speaking, they've asked to report ninja looters. But there's no rules against it and they're not even sure if the dev team will do something about it. So people who do it aren't being punished.

The sad part is that I've only been playing this game for about two weeks... I had such high hopes. Especially after waiting for it for so long. And now... They implement a broken looting system that causes this kind of frustration. Maybe everyone in Korea is nice and no one steals loot, it clearly isn't the case here. And it sucks.. My hope is that if enough of the community bring it to their attention that this is an issue, they will change it. It just needs to be a collective voice. When hundreds of reports start coming in (as this is not an isolated practice -- based off all the threads there are here) they will have to do something about it. Trust me. I work for an email provider as tech support. If 10-20 people complain, no one bats an eye "Working as intended/ User issue", but when hundreds of reports come in they go "Hmm, we may have an issue here". That's just how most companies work. We just need to work together.
CortiCarta
Honestly they do need to set the loot rules where everyone has to agree on it, that would solve a lot of the issues. I had it done once I laughed while everyone was killing boss and I just watched. I tried to grab loot myself but the lead grab him and ran off so when he died he was the only one around it. CosmicDaw
The two most common sense solutions I have heard for this issue code wise would be .. A: Make it so loot rules can not be changed when entering an instance. (still can cause issues if party is not aware of what the loot rules are going into the instance) OR my favorite B: Every time loot options are changed make it bring up a vote to the party that members can vote on to agree with or deny the loot change rules. (most common and best solution imo. Sure this can still be abused if say one member not in a clan just happens to be matched up with a bunch of party members in the same clan and make it so t hat one non member gets jacked.. but ncsoft can't do anything about that.) Solution A is my favorite and it would be easy to implement. Rather than adding a whole new feature to the game (like solution B would require -- a lot of coding), they would just be disabling one {disabling a current feature -- changing loot settings in instance}, which should be easier for the devs and everyone would be happy. Kaom
Guys , at this point of the game you should be already able to solo the blue dungeons . Why do you even group , when you know there is a chance that someone will ninja you ? Either solo or make some friends in game it can't be this hard right? Nilkemios
And this is why I prefer to solo dungeons.
Avatari
I heard this amazing tool that allows players to avoid this everytime :))) Look for 1-5 friends do dungeons with them or solo them. At that point no one is stealing loot. But jokin aside ncsoft had really simple way to deal with this once everyone is in instance loot rules cannot be changed
Kaom
Just play melee and when the lead changes the loot hold your F button , now you can loot too even before him . Done .
