Very Low FPS (PC Specs inside)

Hey guys,

normally I can play every game on max settings and at least get 60 FPS. BnS is the first game where I only get 30-50 FPS while standing with almost no people around (depending on the area I am, if its a Solo Dungeon I get about 60-70 FPS) and 20-25 while in fight which absolutely makes no sense considering that my computer isn't bad. It really affects the game experience if you are having as low FPS as I do, so I would appreciate any help from you guys.

These are my Specs:

Operating System: Windows 10 64 Bit

Screen Resolution: 1920x1080

Mainboard: Asus Crosshair IV Formula

Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 Black Edition 1100T [6x 3.3GHz]

Graphic Card: MSI GeForce GTX 770 Twin Frozr Gaming [2000 MB VRAM]

RAM: Kingston Beast Series 16GB DDR3 RAM

Cheers,

Sincerity

iv had/have similar  issuse,, intel 3570k cpu, gtx 970 gpu 16 gigs ram, and win10. iv got it to a stable point by ending all Nvida processes through the task manager before launching game and also stopping any razer processes after launching it. wont launch without the razer ones going first for me. It isnt ideal by any means seeing as i still get MAJOR fps drops while in dungeons with a party fighting mobs but its what iv had to do to get to a playable point.

I had the same problem , I spent four days trying to find what the problem until I thought my video card have at the end of his life, but anyway ... I researched enough about the problem and found that the version on the Driver NVIDIA 361.75 , this version is causing the board to increase the temperature ( mine was operating at 100 ° C with high drop fps in Blade & Soul ) Solving the problem: I Make DOWNGRADE to 361.43 and the problem was solved

"The board"? My GPU is only at 60-70 C and I am using the newest Drivers so that must be something else then right?

maybe you room temperature is helping mater this temperature , anyway , doing the 361.75 gtx work the wrong way , try to DOWNGRADE to 361.43

I downgraded to 361.43 but It didn't change anything, I would like to know where you read that it changes something and what exactly did It improve for you?

Your CPU is the issue.

The game runs on Unreal Engine 3, it uses DX9 which only usses 2 cores at max. And since AMD are Multi core CPUs, they suffer greatly from it.

I have the same issue and I run on a FX 8320, with a  GTX 970 GPU.

So yeah, you can either wait until they decide to rewrite the entire game code from scratch to make it DX11 friendly... Or you can get a hyperthreading CPU.
