I equipped a soul shield with a big HP bonus but the health bonus doesn't show up

I equipped a soul shield with a big HP bonus but the health bonus doesn't show up. Specifically the blackram narrows one. I look the bonuses from equipment stat and it says 0 for health. My heal bar doesn't increase when I equip it. Also tried the hero's oath soul shield and got no HP bonus. My in game tag is TruthTaco
