I have been playing video games for a long time and most of them(many) have always been MMOS until recently when I started playing console games normally PS4 and I usually play for "PVP" and always aim to be the best or at least really good at it non professionally. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS MY OPINION ONLY You don't have to agree with it or like it, but you can always let me/us see what yours is 1. I will get it out the way and go straight to the point...they say there is balance in PVP, I say-atm this is one of the most unbalanced pvp systems I have ever seen just because of how the classes are built, and here is what I think in general. I THINK in every MMO i have ever played every class is built with different traits(cons and pros). For example, a mage normally does heavy damage at the cost of HP/DEF while a melee class normally has greater HP/DEF(depening on which kind of melee) but less damage than mage and finally a ranged class might be a class in between the 2. But this is one of the things I dislike about this game, every single class specially when it comes to the PVP arena has close to or the same amount of HP/DEF but then some have higher damage than others...the only thing used to "balance" the pvp is HOW CLASSES ARE USED TO DEAL DAMAGE. Destroyer: Massive spins / pins / and grabs from which many times you can't get away or counter, and if you let the destroyer abuse it, well you will be ended right at that -Note: Destroyers are supposed to have higher HP but I think even they have the same HP in arena as everyone else Assassin: I don't think I have ever played a game where an assassin is capable/allowed to constantly stay hidden while attacking their pray, I have seen PVP videos of "good assassins" that their opponents barely get to see coming out of hide... -Note: In most MMOS assassins are allowed to hide and maybe attack while hidden but once 1 or more attacks are made they become visible Summoners: This is one of the most ridiculous classes, they can summon a cat which has very close or same stats(HP,ATK,DEF,CC skills) as their master, so basically fighting a summoner is the same as fighting 2v1... -Note: Normally in MMOS summoners are able to summon creatures to assist in battle however they much weaker than their master, not in BnS Kung Fu Master: This is what I play. It is basically a robot class IF/WHEN you have a good PING, because all you need is to keep in mind your stuns and how many 3RF you can fit in between stuns and if your Ping is good well lets just say you will look like your hacking overlapping skills one over the other while the target is stunned -Note: Another game that I played that had classes very ping dependent was Aion...figures Force Masters: Simply put a high damage mage with the same HP/DEF of a warrior who spams ice skills to keep their target in place while using 1 or 2 strong skills between the icy nukes! -Note: NEW CLASS Warlocks: Are supposed to be better/stronger than Force Master or so I've read. Blade Masters: To be honest I think out of the whole game this might be the one class that actually is "balanced" compared to the ones above Blade Dancers: Similar to blade masters just higher damage and less defensive skills, to me they would basically be the same class if it wasn't for BD being tiny Now, I think all classes do have some stuff that makes them a little different from one another in PVP: It is the way they exploit the skills to achieve a kill, simple.. I keep seeing people say "SKILLED PLAYER IS THE BEST" How can there be a skilled player if all they have to do is get a good ping and learn how to spam the same 3 keys/buttons in between stuns? How can someone be good if they remain hidden for 80% of the time in a fight? How can someone be good when they have a twin helping them win the fight 2v1? Or someone who just has to spam the same skill to keep most enemies disabled while taking damage? I just dont see it...I can't see where all this "great" balance comes from... Maybe its just because i am new to the game / mechanics But in MY CURRENT OPINION there is little to no pvp balance in this game and no "skillz," just ways in which every class can abuse something to achieve their goal. Blinks Posted February 5, 2016 Share Posted February 5, 2016 I think what people struggle the most with in this game is not attacking 24/7. Literally knowing what each class does goes such a ridiculously long way to you doing better, see so many people attack when certain classes have blocks,counters,teleports up to set them up for a combo and most of its because they don't know how the class works. A great example would be a sin a lot of people have no idea how the class works and what they do to get into stealth and stay in it. Highly suggest going and reading up about each class. However as of right now, Summoners are too strong, Destroyers are pub stumpers, all other classes are about on par and FM's are the worst.
