OGSinister
So, I understand that this was answered, but I wanted to see if it could be clarified any further. So, I've been playing since a day or two after the launch on January 19th, 2016; until today (or rather today's patch? not sure what to blame yet), it's been running perfectly fine. Today, the patch downloaded smoothly and I noticed some delay in skill execution, but I figured it was my old PC/lag and just called it a day. In the middle of my Tag Team Match, my client randomly gave me an error, and then closed out. Now every time I try to start the client again, I'm getting a (4049) issue. I tried going through some of the troubleshooting methods, but couldn't execute all because I have assignments opened in other pages that need to remain that way. So, here is my question: what changed? Why is my client acting this way? I would take it more seriously and try to find further remedies, but it just doesn't make sense: my client works perfectly fine for over two weeks, and then suddenly decides to stop working after today's patch? Any answer would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for all replies; I will try to respond to each. I am very conscious about downloading third party programs, so please try not to place any of those in the recommendations.

I don't know; I looked around and I had everything perfectly fine: I didn't have a separate version of GameGuard downloaded; there wasn't an issue with the firewall or any other internet protections; I do have a Razer Synapse mouse, but I disabled like they told me to; I did what they told me to in msconfig and even restarted, which sucks because my assignment progress is back to 0... Everywhere else I look, everyone's just linking to their support page... All I want are answers.
OGSinister
(Oh, and on a side note: every time I cancel out of the (4049) error window, Korean windows pop up and guide me to the GameGuard download page...which contradicts the whole "we-don't-use-a-separate-GameGuard-so-get-rid-of-all-instances-of-it-to-fix-error" suggestion from their support page.) BeK
I also use a Razer Mouse but if I disable Synaspe then the mouse is useless to me as I use bindings on my mouse. I also keep getting that GameGuard download popup...

This whole situation feels like BnS is a college course.

Do this: Open Windows Task Manager -> Processes -> Show processes from all users -> Alphabetize it and End Process for Awesomium and Client...
