BLADE Master at level 45 is SOOOOO BAD in arena.

nearly EVERY class can beat it with little to no efford , with little to no skills at all, i keep getting stuck at 1580-1610 It requires IMMENSE good playstyle to play this class at its current state, our dmg is SO low that if we dont get ppl into a trap its over, 2x honed strike is not enough to deal the dmg we need  in a 6 sec stun lock combined with heavens dance. sadly...

we lack so much atm. all we got is our parry, ya our broken ass parry that every1 hates.. although its SO easy to strafe around it and you cannot block assassins anyway, or kung fu masters.

the only class we have a chance vs is force masters who is now weaker than every class, sure there is some high rated blade masters up there but that only means they know how to play the class and have played it since beta or even on korean servers. at level 45 this class cannot compete at all above 1700 rating . every1 else who can get 1800-2000 at launch with theyre classes is playing a class that is MORE balanced at level 45 and requires less skills, '' assassin and blade dancer and destroyer' sorry to say but spin to win is an allout defensive offensive move that parrys from all sides as well as block. assassins can restealth for 8 sec and that gives them a HUGE edge in determine how the nxt move should go . we dont have the time to react as a blade master before we are dead or kicked in our parry.. :/  there is absolutly no way we can counter when the assassin is swapping places that stuns us

wow. i love this class to death, bur please, give us the lvl 50 patch and bring us up to the dmg and playstyle we are supposed to be in, IF im so wrong about all this, i would love to be trained by some good blade master who knows his shit in and out vs classes for tips and tricks :)

You could have replied to one of a dozen other threads with basically the same title and content. I guess it's easier to create a new thread so whatever. In any case, NCWest has already made it very clear in their streams that they are working on getting us content as quickly as possible. We're getting more content and 5 HM levels in a week... (Feb 10). Just that alone will help tremendously with BM builds due to the 11 skill points. Keep in mind that HM skills come with content updates, such as dungeons. "The 50 patch" alone will not suddenly add all HM skills, as there are many content updates AFTER the 50 patch which include them.

If you want BM training - the information is out there. Bladeandsouldojo has many guides that can help, and so does the youtube. There are players like s_pvp and Enoll (both plat+ BMs) who stream regularly and interact with viewers.

You could use this as an opportunity to learn from a point of relative weakness - this will usually make you a stronger player faster than playing from a point of relative strength. If that doesn't sound appealing to you, you're not exactly forced to play BM.

Blademasters are no doubt hardest class to play right now. Even harder than KFM since we do not have that stunlock combo. We have to rely on perfectly acting aganist enemies every movement and that requires well knowledge of enemy class as well as extremely well knowledge of your own class.

That being said, our damage is one of the best.

Though I main Sin my lv45 BM i do agree they are fairly weak and i lost most matches due to timeout and not dealing enough dmg. BM needs legendary skills to be effective tbh. Though right no FM is probably in a worst spot. im on 1.9k  rating but have to try so hard at each match and lacks the skill points to prolong the CC duration (right now almost all classes can escape bloodcall easily)

They wont change anything so just wait for lv50 content and skills. BM has almost no invulnerable skills until legendary and dont try on Tag. BM is the worst class on tag you will get faceroll by Des Sums an LBM

I'm a FM , I have a lot of trouble of BM's due to their abusing of blocking off CD. I cannot kill a BM that knows what they're doing but at the same time they cannot beat me either due to them being too busy blocking, knowing once they let their guard down I'm going  to freeze and root them.

well yeah currently BM just suck balls. Even while in pve, in term of dmg output i dont feel that usefull unless cyclone + sword chi regen rng + honey slash spam

( and the flicker, dear god the horrible crap damage  )

Just read that the skills here

https://bnstree.com/BM

that should match the lastest update on the kr version ( i suppose ) and quite somes skills have been rebalanced....

Its also a skill design fault, when many class have skills that combo very nicely to have good lock + damage + chi regen ( KFM - SIN just as exemple ) BM barely have that

+ imho they totaly failed the revamp of the flock blade mean... blitzblade and stormblade are pretty much pointless skills, lightning rod is just another lockdown.

imho "flock blade" should be a on / off skill for the flock stance ( and just set a 45-60sec cooldown for the effect )

EDIT : and i dont even spoke about somes skills "that change with points" that no one on earth are going to use.. ( like multislash, fissure, singing lark.. etc.. ) when thoses skills could have be very nice if they have been set as additionnal skills, and triggered under other requierement like somes kfm skills are..

anyway....

Hey man! Im also FM and I just played my first 10 arena games. Only one i lost against wast a blade master who was abusing parry. I couldnt get him below 70% he either parried or CCed me for 90% of the time. Here's my question since i've never played BM and have no idea what skills he has - How to counter his parry abuse?
